Dr. Karin Marie Hardiman, MD

Dr. Hardiman is a great physician who operated on my Dad who was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer spread to his liver. With a Tumor so big that it could cause a bowel obstruction, Dr. Hardiman told us it was imminent that Dad get surgery as soon as possible. This was a second opinion that we never got from a previous office in the area. Compassionate and concerned, we were glad to have her as our surgeon.

Dr Harriman saved my son's life. After doctoring in portage for over a month with my son for Ulcrative colitis with a dr that was horrible, along with two visits to Bronson with no results! I called U of M and met with a dr Bishu. He's was quick to realize my son was very sick and reacted quickly with blood tests and stool cultures. He called the next day and made arrangements for him to be admitted to the hospital. We met with surgeons and thank god Doctor Hardiman was sent to us. She was kind and patient and explained in great detail how sick my son was and that he needed immediate surgery. . Drs Hardiman operated on my son which turned out to be a complicated surgery but she saved my sons life. She's the most caring and knowledgable doctor I've ever met. Dr hardimans team of doctors and all the staff at U of M are top notch. I wouldn't go anywhere else. She's trulely an angel and makes you feel like she's taking care of her family. The best!

Worst doctor at the U. Inaccurate and judgmental and does not listen to the patient and doesn't even try to understand the problem. No empathy. Made too many errors
