Dr. Karl Weber, MD

My husband and have both visited Dr. Weber in the past. My experience was that of a mediocre doctor who didn't really care at best but what my husband endured was beyond. After having our second child we decided we were done having children. After researching our options my husband said it made more sense for him to get a vasectomy than for me to have surgery to have my tubes tied. When he went for his annual visit he discussed this with Dr. Weber who told him that birth control should be left up to the women and went on about how he made his wife get her tubes tied. He gave no medical reasons for why he was opposed to my husband having a vasectomy, only that men didn't do that. Not only did he go on and on about how real men don't get vasectomies he also compared all his numbers to my husband (who is probably half his age and in great shape). His caveman attitude has no place in the medical field. Luckily my husband is a very educated man and is not a push over when it comes to other… people telling him things. If this were someone else, however, I fear that this could worked to change their mind for no medical reason at all. I wouldn't suggest anyone ever going to see this doctor.

While Karl is a great And efficient doctor his front door staff is lacking care and compassion. I had visited the emergency room the previous night for gall stones( new to me). The directions said follow up within 48 hours with primary physician. They said I needed surgery, so I wanted a 2nd opinion. When I walked in and explained to the desk about the ERdirections and that I wanted Dr Weber to look at the files before I ripped body parts out, there was no concern, only “ we can make you an appointment “ . I was expecting later that day or early next day. Earliest is 1 month away?!?!? I once again said this is kind of an emergency and would like him to review notes BEFORE I SCHEDULE SURGERY which was supposed to be ASAP , I can give him a message or you can schedule in a month?!!?!? Thanks for nothing lady! Karl would not appreciate that kind of treatment. Maybe I will send her my gall bladder for a Christmas present. No “ let me check if he can make an exception “ or anything. Sorry… Karl I may be moving elsewhere for care.

Truly, I read old reviews and double checked to make sure it was the correct doctor. This man is a sadistic narcissist. First I am trying to get to an appointment , have a small accident, call when I get home, the response is.."it happens you have to wait 4 months".Head;s up on the new system, I was read the riot act from the desk, it is mandated they all double their case loads, cannot spend more that 15 minutes with a patient!!, As a person, he has no idea what he is doing, doesn't read his own chart, contradicts himself along with irrelevant ramblings about politics and Asian doctors. Guess this is suppose to cover the fact he is clueless why you are there. Worse yet, after a traumatic neck injury he refuses to provide script for x-rays, He took this period of 9 months (before Novant found a C1 fracture) to harass and mock me that pain is psychological and I am a whoos! He acknowledge he could see I was in pain and took the opportunity because I was limited in my ability to fight… back to HEAP emotional abuse of his liking non-stop. I started looking for another doctor immediately but a decent one was hard to come by. Have my fingers crossed.

Our family has seen Dr. Weber for years. He diagnosed my husband's cancer when a family doctor said it was allergies. He spends the time a patient needs in order to make the correct diagnosis and is concerned about his patients.

Great Dr. - excellent.

Doesn't read records from other doctors and spits out psychotic drugs like it's Halloween without any regard to how it affects a person ability to function.

Both my husband and myself see Dr Weber. Not only is he a most excellent physician, but a caring human being. We would not dream of seeing anyone else for our medical care.

Dr. Karl Weber is THE best internist and physician I have seen. I didn't think there were physicians who cared or spent time with patients anymore. He is one of a kind. Knowledgeable and compassionate. Highly recommend!
