Theres a reason he's about the only Doctor in Webster taking new patients. He doesnt follow through or follow up, patients are just a check to him.

Had follow up with him for chest pains and shortness of breath. He read results from heart testing and said everything was fine. I said everything is not fine. He got defensive, even spouting off about his credentials. He refused to send me for further testing. After arguing, he finally sent me to Cardiologist who sent me directly to ER where they discovered blood clots in my legs and lungs. Had I listened to him, I might have died.

My regular Dr Nagendra was out so they gave me Dr Patel for a recheck. After I left that day I needed to pick up a couple prescriptions from Walgreens. After I got home I noticed one med was filled wrong at 200mcg when I take 125mcg. Patel took it upon himself to refill this prescription with the wrong mcg. Granted that is what they had in my records but Webster medical doesnt even control this med. Another specialty doctor does at a completely different practice. We never even spoke about it in my visit.It cost me an additional $30 to get the correct dose filled and their practice manager tells me its normal practice to call the refill in. Um sorry they changed that years ago and pharmacy's are supposed to call the doctor for refill. The manager told me any "normal human" would check their prescriptions before they left. Sorry, I go through the drive through and picked up 8 total prescriptions. I shouldn't have to do your job. Patel would not return my initial call and would not… reimburse me or credit my account after going there for 32 years.

Dr. Patel has been my PCP for 12 years. I have 100% confidence in his ability to diagnose and treat any problems that arise. Recently my girlfriend had an office visit with him after not receiving help from her old PCP. Dr. Patel examined her and found an issue with her heart that was missed by her old doctor. Thank God he was able to see her right away and had the expertise to diagnose what other medical professionals had missed for months. He may have saved her life.

Not knowledgeable and caring person at all. He is just wants to fix up appointment every time and no initial test or procedure initiated from his side being primary Doctor, he just keeps referring to other specialists even without initial analysis done from his end. If he is calling for an appointment just to say to refer to other doctor, better we should have directly been told and gone inn first place. Worst, no care doctor. Really need to get another better doctor.

He does the annual check up just for the sake of getting it done. Comes late, then just ask the questions in the checklist. No proper diagnosis. We have to ask him about better improvement plans, he just answers it vaguely, as though not interested in us getting better. He is in a hurry to get out and not enthusiastic for us get better. He never diagnosed any issue from his end, which i had to get diagnosed from other doctor. Reason for choosing this doctor was seeing the good review, which i hadn't felt fully really, which makes think is he treating different people differently, just a thought. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone, who seriously is trying to get better in health, because he doesn't care at all. Also, i had noticed when i'm being prescribed by him, i was getting charged little more on same dosage from CVS pharmacy (or he might not have prescribed the generic one for it, not quite sure about it, because i hadn't confirmed if it was generic), but little less from… other doctor for the same dosage generic from same pharmacy (CVS) in 2017. So this also will be something for you to keep in mind or compare it.

This doctor has never missed a diagnosis for any member of my family. We have found him to be an excellent doctor. We trust him, literally, with our lives.

Very poor help with inter-costal pain. 8 months of no help. Pain persist and the Doctor would not help. No return on messages not even a day later to show concern when I related how much I'm in. No xray to see what else it could be? Doctor did not care about me as a person to help, he should have tried with some type of therapy or an xray, anything but I got no help after I say the meds did not help after seven months on something that it is written in journals that should be cured in two months or less. No caring, communication, or help with pain. I will be placing reviews for other anywhere I can because it is months and months of pain with no caring or help even when asked for.

Dr. Patel has an excellent ability to diagnosis correctly, every time, regardless of the illness. Staff is caring and efficient. I can sincerely recommend this physician and his staff to anyone.

This doctor is late to every appointment by 15 minutes. Ability to listen to the patients concerns and stay focused on patients needs is not good. Mcdonalds drive through of healthcare. Doctor can't focus on multiple diagnosis and treatments for each patient. Multiple conditions are a challenge and usually go untreated or recognized. No follow up on blood work. No phone calls. Nothing but pay and pay again for follow ups. Find another physician
