Dr. Katherine Lee Hurst, MD

This woman is absolutely incompetent and a danger to her patients. I saw Dr Hurst because of arm pain, later correctly diagnosed by my regular doctor as tendonitis. She was not my regular doctor but a temporary fill-in. She gave me a brief and incomplete exam, she diagnosed me with "nerve damage". She prescribed medication that had potentially very serious side-effects, and which requires extensive followup care. She did not recommend followup with my regular physician. She seemed very excited to diagnose me with a serious condition, and to prescribe this medication. The pharmacist was shocked when she saw the prescription, since some of the information Dr Hurst gave me about this medication was incorrect. Fortunately, I did not take the medication and instead scheduled a regular appointment.
