Dr. Kathleen L Kirchmeier-Kroessler, MD

Surprisingly rude and belittling.

Had a scheduled EMG with Dr. Kroessler. Barbara, her receptionist was very pleasant to speak with and book appt. Dr. Kroessler was very professional, explaining each aspect of the testing. The testing took about 30 minutes and is not the most pleasant of procedures. However, Dr. Kroessler made sure I was as comfortable as could be and was compassionate and informative. A very competent MD.

I was surprised to see so many negative comments but perhaps it's because those of use with great results don't take to the internet often enough. I have found Dr. Kroessler to be not only competent, but compassionate as well. Her staff is very kind and accommodating. Yes, she looks at a computer when typing her notes, but whenever she asks a question she is making eye contact and listening to your reply. Electronics records are what they are but I have never felt ignored or dismissed by her need to record as she goes. And she provides you with access to your records via a patient portal which is great. I would highly recommend her.

I have terrible health insurance. I have found this out as I visited Dr. Kroessler's office for a very bad headache. I had it for 14 days. Since my Dad died of a brain bleed my PCP thought I should see a neurologist. He recommended Dr. Kroessler. She sent me for a test that was going to cost me over $700.00. I did not do it. When I came back for my followup. I was greeted with you owe us $182.00. I then asked about my $40.00 co pay this is the balance it was actually 222.00. I asked if this was going to be the same for this appointment and she said yes. So I cancelled. I was not even home yet and I had a call and an email from them about the $$$. Forget the fact that my head situation is not cured. Very sad as I thought the Dr seemed pretty nice. I guess I'll have to take my chances with my health.

This doctor was excellent. Her interspersonal skills were awesome. Her staff is so helpful and information of the process which I had done, an EMG. They were extremely compassionate and were attentive to my concerns as well as fears of having the test performed. Dr. Kroessler was extremely personable as well as information about the whole process as well as my results once the test was performed. I would highly recommend her!!!! There is no room for improvement....She was Awesome!

Has a bad bed-side, very unsympathetic, doesn't make eye contact and doesn't explain what's going on unless you ask her. Then when you ask, she feels like she's put off. Many times she would have me wait an hour just because she was late coming into the office for no reason.

I BEGAN SEEING DR. KROESSLER ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO. SHE WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A BOSTON DOCTOR. I ALWAYS FOUND DR. KROESSLER TO BE PLEASANT, FRIENDLY AND CONCERNED FOR MY WELL-BEING. I REALLY CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE NEGATIVE REMARKS, AND SO I FELT I SHOULD WRITE THIS REVIEW!!!

She gives the impression that she doesn't understand why and is somewhat annoyed by the fact that people requiring medical care keep coming to her with their problems.

I was a patient of Dr Kresslor. I think she is perhaps 1 of the WORST doctors. RUDE / does NOT respect people/patients !!! Always leave if not happy- I have been with Dr Martin & I love him !!!

Not worth the trip. I would not return to see her.
