Dr. Kathleen M Lewison, MD

Accompanied my 30+ yr daughter to a pre-op apt with Dr. Lewison so we’d both know how the surgery would be performed and what to expect. She’d already been seen & scheduled by her offices nurse practitioner for surgery as both her GP & the NP felt given her multiple ovary/endo cysts etc & chronic pain issues that a hysterectomy and/or ovarian removal was reasonable & appropriate for a condition that isn’t curable and considering she has always been infertile anyway. Dr. Lewison told her within 2 minutes that she didn’t agree because she’s in her early 30s & should seek a 2nd opinion. Considering her own nurse practitioner didn’t find the surgery unnecessary and had already scheduled it, we were both surprised she said this. My daughter stood up to demonstrate how various positions like lifting, carrying weight and even wearing tight clothes for her job caused pain across her lower belly. I added that she’s been dealing with it for many years. At this point, Dr Lewison said “I’m… stepping out because I feel threatened”! & she immediately bolted from the room. My daughter & I both just looked at each other like “what just happened?” We were speechless & stunned by her inappropriate & unprofessional behavior. Never seen a medical professional act that way. My daughter started crying feeling left hopeless & baffled & we left. Neither of us could understand Lewisons strange behavior or reason for bolting from room. She’s decided to seek a qualified stable doctor in Missoula now. I’m still shocked by her unprofessional action.

Complete hack of a doctor. Failed to diagnose my wife with cancer after nearly 2 years of obvious symptoms. She even went as far to prescribe her with birth control, which the estrogen caused her cancer to metastasize. She was too lazy to perform the 2 min biopsy all along until finally decided to, after we requested. She then took a very defensive stance, taking no responsibility for her negligence. Absolutely the worst "doctor" I have ever encountered. Review below is very similar, this is not a coincidence. Don't go to her or allow your family to be treated, or mis-treated by this hack.
