Dr. Kathleen C Raviele, MD

I cannot believe Dr Raviele closed her office and we’re left to figure out where our medical records are located. A good ob/gyn now tarnishing her good name due to poor follow up with her patients in the closing of her office. We need answers!!!!

Can someone please tell me where can I get my records. I didn’t receive a notice or a referral to another Doctor. I wasn’t aware of Dr. Ravielle retirement. Can someone Please help me?

Called to make an appointment and lo and behold the phone number was disconnected. How do we get our patient records??"? No letter to say I am retiring. Who does this? I really liked her as a doctor but the business side of the practice was not up to snuff. If someone knows how to get our medical records over to a new doctor, please post!!!

I didn't want to give a poor review of someone who has retired, but, here it is. Dr. Raviele, if you knew you were retiring months ago, then why did you schedule me for today? If you weren't expecting the retirement, at the very least, please call your patients who have taken off work and have rescheduled their lives, missing family reunions, just so they can come to see you. I actually went to her office today and it looked she and her office had skipped town. Mail was overflowing in their mailbox beside their suite, which was locked tight. I had actually stopped going to her years ago because 1. her office was pitifully behind the times (they actually used a Rolodex as their address book), and 2. Dr. Raviele had actually suggested lap band surgery for me. Yes, I know I'm a short female that has a lot of weight to lose. I know I'm unhealthy and I'm taking steps to reverse that. But what kind of doctor recommends a potentially life-threatening surgery for someone who is NOT… morbidly obese? She absolutely had a snooty attitude toward me and I felt really small when I left her office. Why did I come back? Because I thought I'd been too harsh in my own judgment, and was willing to give her a second chance. I guess after 34 years of practice, it's time to hang it up - and I don't blame her, really. But at least put up a sign or something. To be honest, I'm kind of relieved. I wasn't looking forward to dealing with her nasty, judgmental demeanor again. Dr. Raviele, I see that you are a natural family planning doctor with the Archdiocese of Atlanta, and that you are the director of the board of Pregnancy Aid. I'm glad for you and wish you all the best, but I really hope that you are not judgmental in your future endeavors. Have mercy on people. Please use common courtesy when dealing with people.

This Dr. Office Is Behind The Times, Not Up To Date In Medical Office Procedures. Dr. Raviele may be experienced, however she refuses to administer birth control or do sterilization , her staff cant simply pull insurance cards with the new methods and technology that would keep up to speed with the digital age. Dr. Raviele has this nice nasty disposition and when you talk with her in regards to issues she is non chalant and quite the bit snarky in personality. I donot advise patients to see her unless your catholic, on believe in her methods of hadling medicine. She is very judgemental and frankly her staff is not up to speed in medical office administration and given my recent experience with regards to that, I have severed my dealings with this office. Please go elsewhere if you want proper medical treatment, proficient and fast office personell who can keep up their continuing education in how do things more efficiently.

Waited over an hour and left. Claimed they didn't have me scheduled and didn't tell me until after waiting for 45 minutes. They had called to re schedule for that day!!

She was my gyncologist for awhile...always shrugged off my painful symptoms and put me on vitamins. Turns out I had a very serious illness she completely down played, missed, ignored...very judgemental and very incompetent, but dangerously convincing. Only positive is that she is pro-life. If you need anything besides a general physical or are having any kind of issues, she is not the right one.

I am so glad that I've selected Dr. Raviele as my OB-GYN doctor. She's very sweet, gentle, knowledgeable, and ethical. Her staff are also very professional. Do not ask her for birth control pills or any forms of contraceptives, she will not prescribe. But she would try her best to help you to conceive. She has helped me to conceive by prescribing useful prenatal supplements for me. I hope she would deliver my baby, but she said she doesn't deliver anymore. I would definitely come back to visit her as long as her medical office is still open.

You sit with her in her private office and she goes over your symptoms in a comfortable setting. She is very thorough and you do not feel rushed when visiting her. You feel like there is someone who really has your best interest in mind. I wish she delivered babies but she doesn't.
