Dr. Kathryn Jeanne Drinkard, MD

Have trouble with receptionist but have been going there for 20 years to the office.

I have been Dr. Drinkard's patient for about six years. I am happy to pay out of pocket for my appointment, even though I have medical insurance (Dr. Drinkard does not accept assignment for any insurance except Medicare) As a cash paying patient, I am not rushed as I was with my former doctor, who spent less than 10 minutes with me and then forgot to address the purpose of my visit. All my questions are answered and I get thorough physicals. Dr. Drinkard and her staff are very willing to attend to medication adjustments without appointments. Dr. Drinkard does my gynological exam, saving me an annual visit to another doctor. I consider my appointments an investment in my health. The care I was receiving before was inferior.

Dr. Drinkard's practice is by far the most amazing office I have ever been treated at. She spends sufficient/appropriate time with patients. She always knows exactly what she is talking about. She and her partners do everything in their power to provide the best health care possible. They do not push drugs on me when I am feeling off in any way. If my doctor cannot see me when something is urgent, her partners always see me and is wonderful as well. I trust these doctors with my life and will continue to be a patient until they retire. The only thing is that they are a private pay practice, so I have to do my own submitting to insurance, but that is well worth the service that I get form this office. They are a practice of all female doctors and I feel very comfortable and taken care of everytime I see them.
