I’ve been seeing Dr. Mechelke for most of my adolescence and into my adulthood. She is a great doctor. When I come in for specific issues, she always asks tons of questions, even about the small things, which makes me feel listened to and cared about. She even caught something that I never noticed at a regular physical and made sure to get the proper testing ordered and referrals sent right away. She also takes mental health seriously. I’ve struggled with mental health issues for a while, and she has always been supportive and helpful. At my visits, she always asks how my medication regimen is working out for me and asks for my opinion when it comes to needing adjustments. I feel like she trusts me, which makes me trust her as a doctor.

I saw Dr. Mechelke for a sick visit and I won't be returning to her even for a sick visit. She was way too quick, talked way too fast and you could tell she just wanted to get in and out of the appointment as fast as she could. She identified what was wrong, which resulted in multiple things, but wouldn't treat them. Rather, she said to come back the following week to treat them. I was there because didn't feel well then, I certainly didn't want to wait another week. That is why I went in when I did. Very disappointed in the care I received from Dr. Mechelke.
