Dr. Katrina Munoz Dy, MD

Saw her for two different conditions over the past two years. She correctly diagnosed both conditions and prescribed the medication I needed (without which the conditions would have gotten worse). She was patient, listened to what I had to say, and the medication she prescribed quickly resolved both conditions. I highly recommend her.

I have been to a handful of dermatologists and always felt anxious and uncomfortable during the exam. I now need yearly exams and I was so fortunate to have been given a referral to Dr. Dy. She delivers care in such a warm, professional manner.

Doctor Dy spent 10 minutes with me, misdiagnosed ( I was diagnosed correctly 7 days later in an urgeurgent care place); and did not answer any questions, being obviously in a hurry. Had she diagnosed me correctly, I'd call it efficient but rude. As is, I do not know how to call it. At a follow up visit, I was 5 minutes late. I waited for 5 minutes in a completely empty room (I seemed to be the only patient) for the secretary to finish a phone conversation and to tell me that I will not be seen sinse I was more than 10 minutes late. Above on the wall there was a notice saying that grouchy patients would be fined $10.00. So I assume that frustrating situations happen often.

I had a great experience seeing Dr. Dy for some routine dermatology stuff (acne/psorisis). She was running a little behind, but nothing terrible and was very friendly, patient, and thorough. The front office was pleasant and I was out of there in under an hour. Recommend!
