Dr. Keisa G Anderson, MD

I called into the emergency line for assistance. They transferred me to Keisa G Anderson, MD. After explaining to her the severe pains I was experiencing, she responded by stating that because I “sounded fine” that it didn’t seem necessary for me to receive treatment. She went on and on rambling to discourage me from going into the emergency room stating that I’d likely not be seen. She is the most incompetent, uneducated, unprofessional, rudest doctor I’ve ever spoken to. Her tone was terrible and she was defensive and argumentative. This lady doesn’t care if your baby lives or if you’re in good health. She has absolutely no care for patients. She didn’t care to assess the situation. Her license should be revoked and this behavior reported to the board. She is a disgrace to North Atlanta and I’m sure, will soon become a liability. I’m so glad she is not my delivery room doctor. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone files a lawsuit against her soon for malpractice. She was adamant about… getting back to a patient in the delivery room and HUNG UP in my face. She would not allow me to provide any explanations after her generic speech. What a shame. I will not be visiting this clinic ever. Good luck to moms who choose her as a primary care provider.

I was sent home 3 times from her office I am told that my symptoms were simply hormones. It turns out I had stage III breast cancer. I will never ever recommend her to anyone who I care about. These must be friends of hers writing glowing reviews because I found the level of care in this office to be absolutely horrendous.

Dr. Keisa Godwin is an amazing doctor who has great bedside manner. She’s worth the wait to see her. I’m gonna refer all my friends and family to her. Her nurse Sherrell calls back and answers all questions and concerns. Great experience

Dr Godwin does not listen and treats you like you know nothing. I happen to be a Medical professional and went to her with lots of pain. She did not listen to my symptoms. I ended up going to another doctor who was able to figure out the issue and help me. Dr Godwin's nurse at Northside does not respond to phone calls or e-mails. You have to leave several messages and suggest that you will come to the office to get test results before she calls back. Dr Godwin might be able to deliver babies with no complications. I would be very concerned if she was my doctor and there are any complications. If this is what OB/GYN doctors are like at Northside I would look for another group.

North Atlanta Obgyn practice as a whole is awesome. There is always one that has a speck that causes some to dislike the entire group..She in my opinion is that one. However, I know she isn't the decision maker forvthe entire practice. DR.'S Collen Cherry and Michelle Dodder are awesome. They posses the skills and professionalism that speaks volumes. My second pregnancy was high risk so I had to go to the doctor offten. They made the experience less depressing n stressful. Dr. GODWIN delivered my son, and I was saddened n hurt by this because the practice works as a team n rotate hospital dutied she had to deliver me due to emergency delivery. She is insensitive and lacks great bedside manners. She made me feel as if she was stretching the walls of my vagina and because of that I still suffer from lower vaginal pain even after birth nearly 6months later. While I recommend the practice I do not recommend her. The 5stars or for the practice because I know they are great as well as for… the doctors I saw the poor rating is for Dr. GODWIN

I love Dr. Godwin! I am pregnant with my third baby and have had complications, but Dr. Godwin has been very reasurring and awesome throughout! I feel very confident having her as my doctor.

When I became pregnant, Dr. Godwin came highly recommend by a friend of mine. I was considered high-risk as I had a second trimester loss during my previous pregnancy. Under her care, I went through a ton of complications but she seemed unconcerned and extremely insensitive. My perinatologist seemed to care more than she. Unfortunately, after being on hospital bed rest, I had a premature son at 24 weeks. She was not around to deliver my child when I went into labor ( I was seen by another doc in her practice). When she entered my hospital room to visit the next day, she did not have a compassionate bone in her body. No words of encouragement for me or my sick son in the NICU. After 3 weeks, my son passed away in Northside Hospital. She is very insensitive and out of touch. I will certainly make sure to see another ob gyn for my current pregnancy.
