Dr. Coffman saw my daughter when she was 9 or 10 years old at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh! Our daughter had a rare condition called Moyamoya Syndrome. It took time and a lot of testing, but Dr. Coffman assured us he would find out what was wrong with our daughter & he did. She had to have brain surgery but it saved her life! He sent us to the best neurosurgeon, who also took great care of our baby! She's 18 now and doing well, thanks to Dr. Coffman's dedication to figuring out what was causing her uncontrolled movements!! He was kind, patient and was genuinely concerned! My family will always be grateful for him! God bless you Dr. Coffman! The family of Sydney Cook will ALWAYS be thankful for you! You didn't give up until you figured out what was going on with her & we THANK YOU!!!

He overdosed my daughter that has a mitochondrial disease stating that her metabolism burned through everything else very fast. After prescribing an overdose he didn't even try to figure out what was going g kn with her.

Dr Coffman was the first and only doctor to take the time and seem to want to help us find out what was wrong with my then 6 year old daughter. Other doctors kept giving her meds or told us she was making it up, but he listened to us and to her and we finally found a diagnosis. We live in Pa, where she initially saw him, but we travel ever few years to Mercy so she can see him.

He was the most amazing person to work with. He is courteous, relaxed, professional but down to earth, and brilliant Neurologist we have worked with. Very thankful for him and his amazing commitment to his patients and families. He quickly became an amazing asset to our child's care and an extended part of the family.

Dr Coffman has fabulous rapport with my child. He has the ability to get on the same level as my child. He is very punctual and thorough. He always takes extra time to answer my many questions and never leaves me feeling hurried.
