Dr. Keith J Dietrick, MD

I’m a professional. I would not recommend this doctor at all. He injected the wrong nerve and caused permanent nerve damage. I confirmed that with several doctors. I even confronted Dr. Dietrick and he denied doing anything wrong. What a surprise. When I asked for the cd of the images that he injected they said they wouldn’t give it to me. Every patient is entitled by the law to have there own records including any imaging ( all records/images) I asked over and over for the images and they lied and said the machine isn’t working. This smells bad to me and many others. What is he trying to hide? I saw him save and take pictures of the injections that he did while I was laying on the table. I saw with my own eyes. It’s very dangerous what this doctor is doing. Stay away.

I have been going to Dr. Dietrick for a few years now for back pain. I come into the office is great discomfort and after my procedure I walk out pain free. He is caring and listens to what I have to say. I highly recommend Dr. Dietrick.

I've been seeing Dr Dietrick less than a year. He has been very personable with me, I've never felt rushed off or like he didn't have care or concern on what my issues are. I have lumbar issues and I've had 8, I think, epidural injections and just recently the radiofrequency rhizotomy on each side. The staff can run hot and cold but most often they've been good with me. I plan on continuing to see Dr Dietrick and would highly recommend him. My wait times have been on average 15 minutes and a few times it was longer but I don't know if he took in patients who didn't have appointments and were squeezed in or there were some patients chewing his ear off. one thing I don't like is that you can never get hold of anyone when you call. It's always voice mail messages but I do always get a return call in a reasonable amount of time, usually same day. that's why I put 4 stars for ease of appointment otherwise I've not had an issue getting an appointment. And 4 stars for accurate diagnoses cause… I'm still dealing with pain.

Dr. Dietrick is absolutely the best doctor I have, and I have many. He is thorough and personable and always inquisitive about personal effects of the pain situation that is affecting my lifestyle. He one of the main reasons I would not move out of town. Love him and his staff!!

This Doctor Is Rude and And Argues With Me Over Pain I Am Having. Do Not Recommend.

I've been seeing Dr Dietrick for almost 2 years. During this time I've had a lumbar fusion and a SI fusion and have suffered consistent and debilitating pain for the entire time I have been seeing him. I have mentioned several times that the combination of medications I am on is not helping me - it got so bad over the past 8 months that I was unable to stay at work longer than an hour or two because the pain was so bad I was unable to sit. I don't know how I have made it through, to be honest. Each time I have brought this up and asked what else I can try, he's gotten impatient and told me that I'm "on everything I can possibly be on" and there's nothing else to be done. One time he laughed and said "I wish I had a magic wand to wave over you but I don't". I don't understand why he's unwilling to try anything other than what he has me on. One time I tried to mention that one of the medications doesn't seem to be working. He got impatient (again), interrupted me, and said in a… scoffing tone "oh, so you're telling me X isn't working?!" . He's very intimidating to me when he gets irritated and I've given up trying to talk to him about anything. I just had surgery last week and am due to see him in 2 days for my monthly appointment - I'm already getting stressed and depressed thinking about my upcoming visit. I would love dearly to switch doctors but haven't because I've heard nothing but bad things about pain management in general in So. Florida and am afraid that the next doctor will treat me just as badly as he does. Sometimes he does appear compassionate and like he wants to help, and other times he acts like he couldn't care less and doesn't want to hear anything about what I have to say. Hoping I can work up the nerve to switch soon because I can't go on like this much longer.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dietrick's for 5 1/2 years. He is a very knowledgeable, brilliant, caring physician. What he has done for me is nothing short of miraculous. He has referred me to several physicians for matters not related to Pain Management and I have always been extremely happy with the doctors referred. I have several complex medical issues and Dr. Dietrick has given me back my life. I have recommended him to several others all of whom are extremely pleased with his care. Coming from Boston and being accustomed to Mass General and Brigham and Women's Hospital I consider myself a medical snob and only deal with THE BEST. Dr. Dietrick is THE BEST! If it were possible I would have him as the only doctor I would ever see. He will spend as much time as you need for him to spend with you to answer all your questions and concerns. It is because of this he usually runs late but is well worth the wait because he affords you the same courtesy. In the 5 1/2 years I have… been with him I have never been treated with anything less then kindness and respect from his staff. Not only in the West Palm Beach office but the Lake Worth office and the surgical center as well.

Unfortunately I never got a chance to undergo treatment long enough to see results. Dr was good but his staff ruined the experience for me. He would do much better by firing his staff and replacing them with people that cared. Horrible experience at this office. The staff is rude and unprofessional. Would never return.

lOVE HIS BEDSIDE MANNER. hE WILL TAKE AS MUCH TIME AS NEEDED WITH EACH OF HIS PATRON. HE WILL ASK ENOUGH QUESTION TO GET A BETTER IDEA OF WHAT IS WRONG. HE IS THE BEST AT WHAT HE DOES.
