Dr. Santiago is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who sub-specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. He treats conditions involving the bones, tendons, nerves and muscles of the entire upper extremity in addition to general orthopaedics. He is trained in fracture management, reconstruction, microvascular and nerve surgery of the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, arm and forearm. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH). Dr. Santiago prides himself in listening and working together with patients to make a diagnosis and provide treatment options compatible to their goals and expectations. Dr. Santiago enjoys time with his family, watching movies, playing ice hockey and relaxing at the beach. In addition, Dr. Santiago promotes and recognizes high school scholar achievement by awarding the Harvard Book Prize to deserving local high school students.

Dr. Santiago is fantastic not only as a surgeon but as a caring compassionate person. I would have lost my infected finger if it wasn't for him. He goes above and beyond and the office staff is wonderful as well. I never had to wait to be seen. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Dr. Santiago is the best. He saw me after I had missed my appointment with him. Wonderful with explaining your issue and taking care of it right away. The staff is always kind and helpful.

Dr. Santiago lived up to his reputation. After my injury and before my appointment a friend mentioned have surgery. He was given high remarks. I can attest that he indeed is a great surgeon. He and the rest of the staff are an excellent team. I would recommend Dr. Santiago to anyone in need of hand surgery.
