Very Professional and answered all my questions

I have been going to Dr. Schumann since I moved to Williamsburg 12 years ago. He has performed laser skin resurfacing on my face several times during this period, as well as botox injections and fillers. I think he is a great dermatologist. There are plenty of them to choose from here, but I will NOT go to anybody but him. He listens to any concerns you have and answers all questions. I highly recommend him to anybody who is looking for a wonderful dermatologist.

Find another dermatologist. I can attest to most of these 1-star reviews. First, they attempted to “Balance Bill” me. I shared the letter I received from them with my insurance and they confirmed it is FRAUD. Second, the five star reviews are his staff. Third, Throughout my visits, Dr. Schumann seemed like he didn’t care. He seemed annoyed when I asked questions, which I had to do because getting information from him on his own accord didn’t happen. I took the lead at every appointment. He sat and didn’t ask any questions. I had to ask him to look at my skin to determine what type of acne I have, etc. He is absolutely incompetent when addressing and treating acne. At my last and final visit, I asked him for help because the topicals I’ve been on were making things worse because I have highly sensitive skin. I asked for other solutions for my acne including advice on a skincare regimen. He literally said “I can’t give you advice if you’re not taking a medication”. Not even a skincare… regimen! What kind of dermatologist can’t give those answers — an uncaring, incompetent one. Please look elsewhere. It was no wonder he always had tons of availability. I always got in quick and, in hindsight, I see why. Uncaring doctor, and highly questionable practice as they Balance Bill their patients knowing full well they have contracts with insurance companies not to do that. It’s illegal!

I've been going to Dr. Schumann for 12 years, since we moved here to Williamsburg, VA. He has done laser skin resurfacing, botox, and many cosmetic-type procedures for me. I think he's wonderful. I would never consider any other dermatologist. I would highly recommend him.

When I went to my appointment, he was there for about two minutes and then left. He didn’t inform me about the side effects of the rosacea cream he prescribed me or anything. Now my face has irreparable chemical burns from the cream and I am extremely angry. Do not see this doctor.

I had a pleasant experience at this office. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Dr. Schumann was very professional and addressed all of the concerns I had. I will be making the switch to this practice from a previous one.

Dr Keith Schumann is not a great doctor because he misdiagnoses people and doesn't do any tests and ges just about his money he doesn't care about his patients and he wont even wash his hands before he touches your face or skin. Also his office manager Rakel Mcgee is rude and doesn't call you back and she lies to the patients as well overall this doctor office is not the right one. I recommend seeing another doctor save your money and time and see a real professional doctor and has staff that cares about your issue. I wouldve given negative stars if I could.

My first appointment was a disappointment, they didn't communicate with me that they changed me to Dr. Schumann's partner due to him being out on vacation. I didn't want to see another provider and relied heavily on a friend's referral for that reason. When I called for my next appointment, left 2 messages on the voicemail because they didn't pick up the phone either day and never received a call back and still haven't. The message was left over a month ago and still no response. I will not be returning to this practice.

The front office receptionist is very rude!! And not knowledgable at all about anything!!
