Dr. Kelli Ingram Baender, MD

I liked her personality enough, but I saw too many red flags to feel safe in her care. I moved into a home with hard water and my skin immediately started to change two weeks in. Nine months later I have acne and rough skin where I've never had it before. I didn't know she was training someone that day and when she walked in she declared "ah yes, classic female hormonal acne!" in a way that made me feel pretty embarrassed. I tried to explain my situation to her and she wouldn't listen. I tried to tell her about the products I use at home and she kept talking over me saying "don't worry, I know just the cure". Finally I gave up trying to explain any of my history and she suggested birth control that I'm already taking (she didn't check my chart, I put it on there...) and spironolactone, which I can't take because I have a severe reaction to it. When I told her these things she slumped sadly and said "oh, well I guess I can give you some topicals then". I never got to tell her about the… other locations I was breaking out that she couldn't see, and she stood across the room and didn't come to me to see the problem I was trying to show her. When I realized one of the topicals is a retinoid that makes you sun sensitive and increases the risk of skin cancer, I asked for a sunscreen recommendation and she said "oh, you don't need one". I spend about six hours in direct sun and put my family history of melanoma on my chart, so I don't know if she was having a bad day or what but that's a huge red flag for any dermatologist. I appreciate the topicals but they're making me break out in painful rashes and welts, like an allergy, not purging, and now I can't get ahold of their office to ask for something else. I'll just give the topicals to my friends who can't afford them and try someone who actually wants to listen to me and takes acne and skin cancer seriously.

Have been seeing Dr. Baender for over a year now since Dr. Olansky retired. I have found Dr. Baender to be pleasant, caring and knowledgeable. I was concerned about having a mole on my face removed - fear of scarring, but all turned out great. Pretty much unnoticeable. I would recommend her to friends and family.

As a Doctor she was satisfactory. My problem is the billing department. I am receiving bills suddenly for services in 2010. The bill has been paid but I can't get ANYONE to return my phone calls or emails.

Dr. Ingram treated my brother who was very ill from a brain tumor and a stroke. She diagnosed a serious skin condition that the doctor before did not recognize. Without my even asking she sent a letter to each of his other doctors letting him know about the condition because it could affect other treatments. I have also been a patient for several years. She is very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I don't know why another user make comments about her discussing which treatments were covered by insurance. I think every patient is concerned about that. I highly recommend Dr. Ingram.

Not interested so much in patient care, but, rather more concerned with what procedures can be done that "insurance will pay for"..beware of being asked to sign a "biopsy informed consent" form, especially if one is shoved under your nose while the procedure is being performed. Make sure you understand your insurance coverage policies before agreeing to any treatment. If you have ANY skin cancer concerns, do not go to this doctor.

The office staff was friendly and helpful my wait time was less than five minutes.

I saw Dr Ingram after having an awful experience with Dr. Agha and his staff. I would recommend Dr Ingram to my family and friends.My first visit was very pleasant.
