Dr. Kelly Marie Macmillan, MD

She delivered my son with forceps and I felt completely safe and trusted her no matter what. She has this way about her that is so confident and she really is knowledgeable. She has helped women feel safe and have their babies be born even in scary situations. She deserves all the praise. She has great bedside manner, actually takes time to talk to you and get to know you. I am so glad she was there to competently deliver my baby and would be lucky to have her at my next birth. She is seriously so badass!! my husband is a strong guy, and even he said the way she was pulling those forceps was some type of superhuman.

Dr Macmillan is in a league of her own! If you are looking for an amazing OBGYN I highly recommend her. Had such a wonderful pregnancy and planned c-section with her.

I first went to Kelly when I was newly pregnant with my first son and needed an OBGYN closer to my new home. She came highly recommended from a friend of a friend. Since then, I've sent many women to her when they were on the hunt for a new OBGYN. Here's why: 1)She is thoughtful, caring, knowledgeable and can keep a stress ball like me sane through three pregnancies (and help me keep my babies safe through to term). 2)She is personable, makes you feel like a friend/important, and makes me laugh/feel better at each appointment. 3)She is proactive - when I asked what would happen if there were complications, she immediately told me we'd be in Boston. Being new to the area, that is exactly what I wanted to hear. She puts the mom and baby's health above all else. 4)She always makes you feel "heard" - no matter how busy I know her day is, she always takes the time to talk through any concerns I have, never belittles them and always puts me at ease. 5)Her nurse, Lisa - she is amazing,… friendly, full of energy and always helpful/attentive. I love her. 6) She understands my scheduling limitations with my work and child care schedule and goes out of her way to make things easier on me. Basically, she is the best of the best. I absolutely adore her and credit her and Lisa with my three healthy pregnancies. I can't imagine having gone through this adventure with any other doctor.

Kelly is just wonderful. She speaks to you like you're a real person. She spends a great amount of time asking you questions. Her nurse is wonderfully pleasant. Office calls you back promptly when you need something. I have had a great experience with Dr. Macmillian and wish I knew about her when I was having babies!
