Excellent doctor....

This doctor also works for insurances and denies requests for medications for children who urgently need them. Instead of caring for these patients, he helps the insurance to deny the medication request so that the insurance can save money. I think doctors should be compassionate and help patients obtain the care they need, and not help insurances who already make billions to decide against the patient. In addition, he is not even licensed in the state where the patient lives, so he should not be able to decide on that patient's care anyway!

I had struggled the past two years with sandpaper skin on my face that was slowly creeping over my entire face. I had seen another dermatologist in Sept. in this same group that had prescribed a Rertin A type of cream. All it did was make my skin flake off, I made a follow-up appt. & this time I saw Dr. Alpern. Dr. Alpern looked at my skin, & Rx'd two things, one for the rough skin on my face & one for my itchy scalp. That was less than a week ago. My face is now smooth & the redness is almost gone. My scalp no longer itches, & I am one happy camper. Thank you Dr. Alpern.

He didn't waste my time. I was "boringly normal" and he was in and out, so I was in and out.
