Dr. Kenneth Baurse Bortin, MD

Dr Bortin shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine. I saw him for 3 months. He wouldn't answer my questions. continually told me that my chest pains and shortness of breath were all in my head. I decided I had enough of him because I was getting worse and he was doing nothing. I found a different cardiologist. Now 6 weeks later I'm scheduled for heart surgery.

Dr. Bortin was given to me in 2017. I've never met a more rude and unprofessional person. Complaints were filed yet the clinic followed up on nothing. It wasn't only myself. I really hope that he's not still practising and if he is I'd like to see him again so that i can tell him how i still feel about what he accused me of AND put in my record. Dr. Bortin is by far the very bottom of the scum barrel.

Dr. Bortin has commented on how Mercy allows him the time Aurora did not. He checks what he needs to, asks appropriate questions, answers any questions I might have, and if necessary sets up any follow up procedures. His nurses are also very helpful. After being prescribed a specialty medicine by a surgeon, there was a lot of difficulty getting the insurance company to approve the prescription, yet through they're perseverance the prescription was approved, with great continued results.

Thorough, knowledgeable and reassuring. Highly recommend him.

Was referred to him by my pcp for dizziness. Recommend wearing a heart monitor for a month ,which I did. The results showed no obvious problem. Set I was a detriment to those around me at my job and to society. After his work restrictions,I lost my job. Made an appointment for second option and all of a sudden Dr. Bortin has me seeing another specialist. Him nurse cancelled my follow up appt with him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bort6in's since I had a heart attack about 10 years ago. He has always been very kind, thorough and available. I highly recommend him to anyone with heart issues and can't imagine going to anyone else.

Dr. Bortin is not very helpful, he answer some of the questions you might have. But most of the time he always tell you to check with your primary doctor. Second, he only spend 5 to 10mins with his patient and he is off.
