Dr. Kenneth Martin Chekofsky, MD

I’ve had nothing but a positive experience in seeking treatment, for De Quervain's tenosynovitis, with Dr. Chekofsky. He is very thorough, professional, and efficient.

Love this guy. Straight to the point and explained every thing great. This was my first surgery and between him and his Staff I was well taken care of from day one.

Dr. Chekofsky did carpel tunnel surgery on my left hand. He did a very "old school" procedure and left a huge scar from my wrist to the palm of my hand. After the 19 stitches were removed I still had a large opening at the wrist that would not heal for a long time. He did nothing for it except for saying to keep applying hydrogen peroxide which was the wrong solution for this issue. I also had carpel tunnel issues with my right hand and went to another surgeon, Dr. Watts. He did the surgery on my right hand and you cannot even see the scar. I am now having issues with "trigger finger" on by left hand which I am having Dr. Watts take care of.

I was referred to him by urgent care bc he's the ONLY hand specialist for Warren Clinic. When I went to his office I waited two hours to be taken to a room. His medical assistant glanced at my hand and asked if I'd like to see the NP instead bc he still had two patients ahead of me. My entire nail had to be removed and the pain meds he prescibed did little for my pain. When I called to see if he would prescibe somthing different he refused and would not listen to my concerns. He made little to no eye contact and always seemed rushed and inconvenienced by me. When it was time to take my bandage off he ripped it off causing me so much pain but he INSISTED I WAS FINE! I wouldn't reccomend him to my worst enemy!

This doctor knows he is one of the few hand surgeons in Tulsa and that you don't have much of a choice. He seems to be more interested in just getting paid than treat you like a human being. If you have questions, be sure to have them in writing the first day and don't waste is precious time. When I had questions just before my wrist surgery, he was short with me and ended up signing my consent form for me just to get me hurried into the operating room. Post-surgery has been a painful recovery with very limited mobility. I will be seeking a second opinion from another surgeon. As for his staff, they were all very friendly.

I almost died of internal bleeding after my surgery.

Do not recommend this doctor or his staff. He is arrogant, and doesn't listen to you at all. He thinks his time is more important than yours and doesn't care. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes to an hour and half past your appointment time.

He's the best! I had a broken bone on my arm and he was wonderful

He might not have been the most "loving" doctor, but he gave me full function back In my hand after a very devistating injury. I felt like he did everything correctly and have no bad review for Dr. C highly recommended!

THIS BY FAR IS THE WORST PHYSICIAN I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH IN MY LIFE. ALLOWED HIM TO DO SURGERY ON AN EXTREMITY WHICH I DID NOT GAIN FULL MOTION BACK IN AND I NOW HAVE THE MOST HORRID PAIN NOW. I HAD LESS PAIN WHEN THE EXTREMITY WAS BROKEN. THIS DOCTOR DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS AT ALL. ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS GETTING THE MOST NUMBER OF PATIENTS TO LIE DOWN ON THE TABLE TO CUT THEM OPEN AND TO ATTEMPT TO FIX THE PROBLEM. HAD A VISIT WITH THIS DOCTOR DISCUSSING HOW THE SURGERY DID NOT WORK AND HOW I NOW HAVE AN INCREASED IN PAIN AND HIS RESPONSE WAS THAT HE ONLY FIXES BONES HE DOES NOT OPERATE FOR PAIN. HE DID NOT CARE THAT I COULD NOT PLAY BALL AT ALL WITH MY SON. HE IS THE MOST RUDEST DOC I HAVE EVER MET. I WOULD NOT REFER ANYONE TO BE OPERATED ON BY THIS JERK. GO WITH DOC BOONE IN THE EOOC (EASTERN OKLAHOMA ORTHO) CENTER. THIS DOC CHEKOFSKY IS A JOKE!!! HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENT AND WHAT HAS BEEN TOOKEN AWAY.
