Dr. Kenneth Joseph Mroczek, MD

Don't waste your time. He gave me less than 7 min and did not listen to my complaints or comment on the visual abnormalities. He never reviewed imaging that documented the pain and problems I've been having. Despite numerous falls and unsteadiness, he never wanted to see me ambulate or stand on the affected leg. He offered no advice or next steps; not even a referral to PT. Made up his mind he wouldn't help me. Who does that?

Dr. Mroczek is an exceptional surgeon who saved my leg. My foot and ankle were severely deformed in vertical and horizontal directions with multiple joint dislocations and broken bones. I had progressive deteriorating foot and ankle deformity that getting worse every week. Eventually I couldn’t stand and walk without excruciating pain. Dr. Mroczek successfully performed very complicated and high-risk surgery and now I am walking on both of my feet again. He is the only surgeon in New York who was able and willing to perform such surgery. I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Mroczek for saving my leg.

I have been seeing Dr Mroczek after a complete rupture of my Achilles’ tendon. We had seen other doctors who stated that surgery was my only option if I ever wanted to walk again but Dr Mroczek’s advice was that surgery wasn’t necessary. I have healed fantastically and I’m returning to my life! He was spot on with all of his advice. The office is helpful and kind and I would recommend Dr Mroczek to my family and friends.

When I first met Dr. Mrozeck back in 2018, I knew right away he was the one to perform surgery on my right ankle. Three months later after meeting him I had ankle surgery and I was under the anesthesia when he opened my ankle and inserted the camera to see what was going on Inside, he saw so much damaged that he took the liberty to repair everything. I had tear long and short tendons ligament, bone spurs, other tissues damaged, nerves etc. etc. overall, I had 5 procedures in one. I was so pleased with Dr. Mroczek’s job that I had recommended a couple of people and they are pleased with him. It already a year after I have surgery and I’m already back to normal. I met with other surgeons before I met with Dr. Mroczek’s and the first time I met him my instincts told me he was the one. I’m so grateful to Dr. Mroczek’s repairing my right ankle and be back to normal because I couldn’t walk before surgery. I highly recommended him to some of my friends and they are very pleased and as… well with Dr. Mroczek’s job.

I was referred to Dr. Mroczek by another medical professional. Iwas shocked at how abrupt and uninterested he was in my case. He let his resident do most of the exam and barely explained anything to me. I had a pretty common but extremely painful condition. After we tried a procedure which was not successful, he essentially requested that I come into his office just to tell me that there was nothing he could do for me.

A training Dr came it to review with simple questions. Dr Mroczek came in right after he got the scope of injury. We went over it in detail. Told me how to care for my injury. Done. This is a good guy that knows his stuff. THE FACTS. I don't need coddling. I need to know how to take care of the problem. Just the way he told me. I wish this guy was my primary physician. I would recommend this Doctor all day long.

I had a follow-up visit with Dr. M for surgery that was done by another orthopedic surgeon (Dr. E) who had performed this for me at HSS but who no longer accepted my med insurance plan. Even though Dr. M was not the one who performed my surgeries, he still knew my orth surgeon Dr. E as a fellow practitioner and attended to me and my questions all the same. I definitely felt I was in good hands and care.

I got six opinions because I am a nurse and I don't believe in putting all of your eggs in one basket. I can see why he is in charge. He is Excellent!!!!
