Dr. Kenneth K Rauschenbach, DO

My experience with Dr. Rauschenbach was extremely disappointing. The appointment felt rushed, with minimal time dedicated to discussing my condition in depth. I did not feel that my injury, symptoms, or concerns were thoroughly explored or clearly explained. Given the significant fees associated with the visit, I expected a more comprehensive and attentive consultation. I was particularly concerned by the lack of communication and empathy during the appointment. There was little effort to understand how the injury occurred or how it has been affecting my daily life. I left the visit feeling unheard and without a clear understanding of my diagnosis or treatment plan beyond being prescribed pain medication and referred to physical therapy. Professionalism in patient care includes not only clinical expertise but also attentiveness, compassion, and clear communication. Unfortunately, I did not experience those qualities during this visit. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr.… Rauschenbach. In contrast, my previous experiences at HSS have involved physicians who demonstrated a much higher level of empathy, thoroughness, and professionalism.

Dr. Kenneth Rauschenbach is an excellent orthopedist. I had a TKR with him 5 years ago. His manner is pleasant and calming. There were no problems, healing was complete after PT for 4 weeks. I returned this week with concerns about my other knee. After evaluating my X-rays, he did not suggest another knee surgery. He was able to give me another alternative and it was successful. I appreciate that unlike many surgeons he did not push for more surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Rauschenbach.

If you don't mind a doctor with a horrible bedside manor then see him.

Highly under trained office staff including phone team. Nobody smiles or introduces themself. Very sad statement.

Was put at ease before my surgery and afterwards once I mentioned to people that Dr. Rauschenbach performed my surgery I knew I was in good hands.

He is the most unfeeling doctor that I have ever been to. He said he was going to give me a prescription but never did. I called the next day and the person in his office gave me the name of the med and said she would call me after he prescribed it. The next day I called back and got the run around and his staff was rude. I called my insurance company and they put them on hold for 15 minutes. They called back the next day and was told that there was no mention of a prescription in my chart but two days earlier there was. Don’t go to this doctor you are just wasting your time!

This Dr. is a joke He rushed me during my appointment after having me wait an hour to see him and never apologized for the wait. He then starts pushing me to do PT instead of ordering an MRI and lectures me about his qualifications. I got the x ray done but went to a different Dr. who ordered(and it was approved) the MRI and not waist MY time on the PT. This guy wanted me to do PT for a month before he would order an MRI. Nonsense! His office happens to be right next to Access PT which he kept pushing. What a scam. This Dr. may have graduated med school but he should go to school for how to look a patient in the eye and learn how to talk to a patient. Stay away from him!

I have had surgery with him in 2011 and another in 2015. I trust his work and opinion.
