Dr. Kenneth Dean Reeves, MD

Dr. Reeves literally saved me from years of pain with the only way to relive the pain was prescription medication or surgery. A friend referred me to Dr. Reeves and I am forever grateful. He is the most knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, genuine and approachable physician I have ever known. After the first appointment with Dr. Reeves, my pain was relieved within 2 weeks. I am forever grateful to Dr. Reeves and I am honored to be his patient.

I have severe arthritis and have tried many different modalities to deal with pain. They all worked well ... for a short time. When my sister had great success with prolotherapy in California, I looked for a local therapist and found Dr. Reeves. His treatments have been a profound quality-of-life changer for me. There are so many things I can do now that I couldn't two years ago! Dr. Reeves is very thoughtful and comprehensive in treating my specific issues. His team is respectful and caring and they do everything they can to keep me comfortable during treatment. I feel like they really care about my healing and progress. Dr. Reeves is a skilled and experienced practitioner, and I'm grateful that I finally found a treatment that truly helps with chronic pain.

Dr. Reeves is a talented and unique doctor to who I give the highest recommendations. I have struggled with pelvic and hip pain, specifically nerve tension and pain for over 2 years. My injuries potentially stem from an unsuccessful hip labrum tear/impingement removal surgery (traction specifically within surgery may have caused some damage) which provoked all the nerves in my pelvic to go into chaos. My sacral, sciatic, pudendal, perineal, and obturator nerves have been fighting against me. All of this dysfunction affects my muscles, alignment, and general nervous system function. I found Dr. Reeves a little over a year ago and am at least 50% better because of his treatments today. I wish I found him at the onset of my symptoms, but I am blessed to have him on my team now. Healing nerve damage/pain is a long journey, and a very tough one. Not many doctors are trained to understand, diagnose, and heal injuries such as mine. I have seen about 12+ different “specialists” over my… journey and had to be an advocate for my health. Once I consulted with Dr. Reeves, I knew I found another advocate for my healing journey. He has a gift to help your body heal and he has absolutely no ulterior motives to his practice. In addition, he is extremely intelligent and researched, however also extremely humbled and driven by God's power. Also, don’t shy away because the procedure being a high numbered injection treatment. Dr. Reeves and his staff make you very comfortable. I have always been scared of needles, but now I look forward to getting my treatments. If you are struggling with chronic pain, know there is hope. Dr. Reeves has given me hope and I feel incredibly blessed to have him as a doctor.

Dr. Reeves is the best! When I first met him, I was unable to drive, stand up straight, I walked hunched over. I overflow with gratitude for this angel on earth. I am able to walk, drive, and a significant amount of the pain is gone. Not even a single headache! If you are suffering with pain, chronic pain your answer is right here with Dr. Reeves. His knowledge and continued studies make me excited for treatment in the future. His kind, compassion, and humble nature radiates from him. The staff is the same way. I have been going to Dr. Reeves for a long time. I was in a bad car accident and have an injury at the base of my neck, which causes severe head pain. He has brought me a long ways. I did all the steriod treatments, and they put me through several tests. My one doctor told me about Dr. Reeves. I am glad I have no blown disc's. I wish I would have found him after the accident. I feel God lead me to Dr. Reeves. Very friendly staff and caring about you as a person. Dr. Reeves listens to you. I am very grateful for him.

At last I am getting some help with the pain in my legs and knees. The last appt. has eased my left knee pain. I am able to move around easier.

I have never felt compelled to leave a review for a doctor before. But, because of Dr. Reeves' amazing work and heart, it feels necessary and important to leave these remarks, to tell others about his practice. He is a saint. After struggling with a pernicious injury, seeing countless doctors on four different continents, and not really getting anywhere in terms of pain relief, I found Dr. Reeves. He is truly brilliant, gifted, compassionate, and at the cutting edge of his field/research/treatment. I am continually bowled over by his knowledge and experience, his kindness, and his ability to help heal. He has a tremendous heart, as well as being a whiz-bang doctor and researcher. His staff are composed of a number of angels. They are the sweetest and most loving nurses I have ever dealt with and they all truly care about your healing. Even though a treatment consists of being, basically, a human pincushion (they truly do make it as comfortable as possible!), I look forward… to my appointments so that I can be in the presence of these lovely human beings and to know that I am receiving the best possible care. My son Christopher and I have used Dr. Reeves for prolotherapy treatment four times over the past six years. Last year he treated me for a groin pull. Most recently he treated me for a meniscus tear on my right knee and three weeks later I won a tennis tournament in KCMO. My son was also treated for a meniscus tear during football season and was back on the field the very next day. Do yourself a favor and give prolotherapy and Dr. Reeves a try.

I highly recommend Dr. Reeves for anyone with pain associated with athletic activities. I am a physically active 59 year oldâ??I run and swim regularly and am often engaged in heavy yard work, hiking or other strenuous activities that have a tendency to create strains that sometimes do not heal easily. I have found that active release therapy from a chiropractor or physical therapy is helpful, but not sufficient to address pain associated with trapped nerves, the source of which is often not readily apparent. I have responded very well to phototherapy. I have found that once healed, injuries are not prone to recur. Dr. Reeves runs a small, highly personalized practice. He is very focused with his attention, generous with his time and explanations, and phenomenally adept in navigating nerve systems. I especially value his commitment to helping me do what I want to doâ??he respects that rigorous exercise is an important outlet for me and he is devoted to helping me stay active.
