The male Physician’ Assistant makes me very uncomfortable at Cedar Hill office

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! This place is horrible starting with the front desk. They have no customer service skills, rude, unprofessional, all they care is collecting your copayment. Not a very welcoming place. Dr Aftergut spends no more than 10 minutes with you and never lets you speak. He wants to do all the talking. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE

After suffering since 2013 from severe excruciating plaque psoriasis that I was hospitalized for pain control because no dermatologist in my area could treat because they had never seen a case so bad, I found Dr. Aftergut recently. I travel from the San Antonio area to his Cedar Hill office. This doctor was able to treat my severe psoriasis in a matter of days, and I am ever so thankful to his kind and caring staff for going above and beyond the call of duty to help me with getting an urgent appointment and my insurance issues. I am suffering no more people, I don't burn or itch anymore and cry from the pain. I feel human again, he gave me back my life, I can go out now and not scratch and tear up from the pain and be embarrassed. Thank you, Dr. Aftergut. I would highly, highly recommend him and his caring staff to anyone that is suffering that I way I did. Thank you over and over again Dr. Aftergut and your beautiful staff, I am ever so thankful to God for leading me to you and… your staff. I am happy to show my before and after pictures.

He tries to direct patients to the pharmacy of HIS choice. That is just wrong.

I previously wrote a review regarding Dr. Aftergut's billing office and the communication is I had with them. To my surprise I received a call from his office later the same day and the nice lady told me that all had been taken care of. They wrote off the bill as they wanted to keep me as a customer and a patient which was more important to me than the money. This says a lot about this office, I always loved my PA, Bethany but I now have a great respect for this office and it's commitment to their patients.

Told me what I had as soon as he walked into the room. . . and he was right.

I went for a rash but he asked if I would like to get my moles checked. I was very thorough. I found a suspicious spot on the my back that ended up being an early basal cancer. I didn't even know that it was there. Now I get yearly skin checks from Dr. Aftergut. He is a very kind and thorough doctor. I highly recommend him.
