Dr. Kevin Richard Herron, MD

i’m an old man and have been cared for by many fine doctors. Dr Herron is the best of the best!

I've never had a doctor nearly as engaged and open to listening to us (my wife and I) as patients as Dr. Herron. We actually moved away, experienced substandard care, and returned to the Seattle area in part to return to his care.

My entire family goes to Dr. Herron, it all began the day he visited our hospital to check in on our newborn son. He listens to all my concerns, doesn't make me feel like an overacting mom and doesn't waste my time. My kids have grown up with him and feel very comfortable discussing their health with him. I will follow Dr. Herron to his new location. My note about wait time is accurate, at Mill Creek it can become very backed up, I do wish they office staff would be better about contacting you if they are running behind. Waiting in an office for over 30 minutes to be seen and another 30 minutes in an exam room is unpleasant when your ill.

After reading the negative comments I feel compelled to set the record straight about Dr. Kevin Herron. If you take the time to read some of the comments you will find that the patients aren’t complaining about Dr. but about his employer, the Mill Creek Family Practice. I began to notice problems when calling in to the front desk. After asking a few questions I learned that it was the employer that was forcing the doctors to only treat patients for their most crucial complaint or illness. Patients would be forced to schedule another appointment to come back and be treated again. Driving from Arlington to see him, I seriously started to look for a Dr. closer to my home. The incident that was the final straw was when I went in for left knee pain and had to see another physician. He ordered an x-ray which supposedly showed something in the opposite knee! As a result, he told me I had to have an MRI on my right knee. The results? Nothing! Unless you consider the 100.00 I had to pay out… of pocket and the hundreds my insurance was billed, for no reason! I questioned the X-Ray tech, the billing department and the physician and they all stumbled for an answer I was never given. Please give Dr. Herron another chance at Evergreen Health in Bothell. You will find that he is concerned about your care and your health and that he has the support of his employer!

He is a liar who is more concerned with getting back to his lunch than actually examining a patient and providing the second opinion that the patient was needing. He rather put the patient down than take any responsible action.

I was a patient of this doctor since 2007. When I first started seeing him he was fantastic but then in the last 2-3 years the appointments became a bit rushed but he was very courteous, then for some reason the billing dept. said there were issues with my insurance. After hours of research my results were that the bills weren't billed to the correct insurance, it was billed to my wife's insurance. When all was corrected they failed to rebill my insurance for sometime. All in all to sum this all up I was told that he didn't want to see me any further in time.. I found that very hard to believe seeing this statement was made by his BILLING dept. I have not been given the opportunity to speak with Dr. Herron himself regarding this issue. He is really a good man and would stay unless he really doesn't want me to see him anymore.

I would not recommend anyone go see Dr Herron. He rushes in and out so fast if you blink you miss him. Doesn't leave time to have any additional items taken care of if it wasn't main reason for appointment. Wont give simple lab results over the phone, which is all about padding his bottom line. He has an ugly big ego and is definitely a control freak. After having the same Dr for 10 years I was sad and disappointed at the care I received by Dr Herron. Mill Creek Family Practice office visits prices are also high, I would go anywhere but there!

Very kind doctor with great bedside manner who is genuinely caring and down to earth. Listens to concerns and questions. Does not rush you.

II have had several doctors in my life. Dr. Herron is by far the best. He gets back to me in a timely manner, I have never had a problem getting an appointment on the fly, he is compassionate and very knowledgeable. We have utilized him as the Dr for my wife and pediatrician as well!

I've been with Dr. Herron since the beginning of his residency and followed him into private practice. Nearly 10 years now. I consider him more than a doctor, he's a friend who has always gone out of his way to give me the best possible care. If he doesn't know the answer he always finds out. I'm a very complicated patient with several chronic health issues. He's called me at home after he's off duty and will say.. I was thinking about so and so today and spoke to a colleage and let's try this. He always returns my calls, always listens, and when he refers me to a specialist.. he makes sure it's someone that will be good to me. He's an incredible doctor and any patient that goes to see him will know they're in good hands of someone who truly cares about his patients.
