Dr. Kevin Daniel Lanclos, MD

Dr Lanclos and his staff are truly first class. They care about their patients and it shows! I called at 8:30 am on a Friday morning with non emergency pain in my neck. I just knew I could not go through the weekend without relief. Dr Lanclos was kind enough to squeeze me in at 4:45! I can’t say enough good things about him. I have been seeing Dr Lanclos for 15 years. He is always professional and pin points my issues exactly. I received the medicine on Friday evening and am writing this review on the following morning. I feel so much better. He is an Amazing Doctor; smart, kind, and available for his patience! I definitely recommend him and his office!

I've been seeing Dr. Lanclos for about 18 years and he is wonderful! Great bedside manner, and is always willing to discuss and help with any questions or concers.

This guy right here is the most honest doctor ive ever seen. And first things first he is a realist and so fancy. Great bedside manners. *wink wink* Always recommended

I went to Dr. Lanclos with a lot of ab pain, vomiting, etc. I had already had every scan, scope and test that both Internal Med Drs and Gastro Drs could imagine and everything was negative. I asked Dr. Lanclos about the possibility of adhesions causing my issues. He was very rude - said I needed to stop reading and I needed to stop try to do his job....I'd like to slap him upside the head with my surgeons report - guess what, my issue was extensive adhesions coming from the gall bladder, wrapped around the right transcending colon - but Dr. Lanclos could only try to push one pill after another at me and would not even discuss my questions....I've actually posted my experience prior to this but it seems negative comments get deleted.

I have been going to Dr. Lanclos for 10 years. I still use him even though I've moved and he's not on my restrictive insurance plan. He is worth the time and money. He is a fantastic Diagnostician and has a wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. Lanclos is an incredible physician. I have been his patient for 5-6 years. He always takes the time to talk and listen and explain what condition I have and show me pictures/models or whatever. I always learn something when I go in and he always gets me back to feeling 100%. I have never had any issues with misdiagnosis. He's such a sweet, kind, and sympathetic guy. And so smart!

In the end, I would say Dr. Lanclos means well. He seems to have an overall good bedside manner & has demonstrated some ability to accurately diagnose conditions. He also, however, seems to miss some textbook conditions & even diagnosed meds, in my case, that exacerbated other conditions ( meds well known to aggravate these conditions) . While being examined, he also asked questions about pre -existing problems well established in paperwork he already had for about a year. I realize he must see a lot of people & don't particularly expect him to know my medical information by heart, but I do expect a doctor to flip through my chart or something along those lines, before seeing me. Worse yet, he and/or his staff is/ are terrible at consistently reporting information or general follow up. For example, I got a cholesterol test for which I never got the results. I asked about testing results for two other conditions (one mentioned earlier) from blood tests, to which the nurse acted… completely ignorant & never did provide information. . Worst of all, follow up on a yearly, required test has never been provided, despite the great importance of the test. Right now, I am about 4 months past due for this test & have not heard a word, despite having been called about a yearly test which for a far less important procedure. Frankly, I have given up on Newton Medical in general because of my experiences there.

I've gone in to see him four times and one time was a same day appointment because I was incredibly ill. Dr Lanclos took the time to talk with me and get to know me during my first appointment. He really stayed to listen to me. Because I get lazy with my diabetes I told him I needed a doctor to put things to me bluntly and he did! But all the while respecting me as a person. I can count on him to be totally honest with me and that brings me to want to open up and be honest with him when I'm doing things I shouldn't. If my insurance ever says he's out of network I don't know what I'd do. He's a great guy!

I am a obese patient was having issues with swelling in the legs, my blood profiles were out of sight and I consulted Dr. Lanclos to find out what was going. He reviewed the results and told me to lose weight. I ended up having a major heart attack, which I survived and I have never gone back to this doctor. He does not like spending time with an obese patient. But when a person has legitimate problems, he seems to poo-poo them and just walk away. He is a poor excuse for a doctor.
