I had a small umbilical hernia which was giving me lot pain. Dr Petersen did a great job repairing it. This was 5 years ago. Couldn't be happier with the results.

Consulted - honest and amazing. Since I was unable to make it out his way for a removal, he gave me some advice in dealing with the original repair's complications, and my local healthcare system.

I suffered with a mesh implant after surgery for inguinal hernia in 2011. Dr. Petersen removed the mesh in 2012. I went from bed ridden for over a year back to full mobility Thanks to Dr. Petersen.

I’ve had 3 hernias repaired with Dr Kevin Petersen. He is excellent and doesn’t charge you for office visits related to the hernia surgery or for follow ups afterwards. Cash payment for the surgery. Great success avoiding the typical mesh other Dr’s use. I’m very very happy and would recommend to anyone wanting an inexpensive no insurance surgery for hernias. One of very few Dr’s in the world who perform this no mesh procedure. The reviews are a little lower than you would want to see but from I have read there is a campaign by someone to try to tarnish his reputation with bogus accusations and bad reviews. I would not hesitate to use Dr Petersen again if/when needed. You will not be disappointed.

We could not be happier with our choice and putting our faith in Dr. Petersen. A complete new naval, surgery, 5-star hotel, dinner at Del Frisco's steak house, $40 in the slot machines, and flight tickets for less than our quote from the local mesh doc. We made a new friend in Dr. Petersen. PAIN: The Doctor gave me a magic pill prescription I took the night before that tricked my body into not feeling anything! Anything!! Excellent experience with Dr. Petersen. I decided to go no mesh repair after talking to others and hearing about their mesh problems. 4 months now after surgery and I am very pleased with the repair. I feel like my old self again. I would like to add that those with mesh pain coming to Dr. Petersen are doing so because the surgeon that placed their mesh refuses to help them or acknowledge their pain. I am Dr. Kevin C. Petersen. I am very gratified by the good reviews. The bad reviews need a little explaining. I wish I could help everybody. I can't. A small number of patients experience worsening of their pain with mesh removal. I have been doing hernia mesh removal for pain for 25 years. I am very up front with my statistics. Most patients have realistic expectations and most patients have a very positive result with hernia mesh removal for pain. Mesh pain is a horrible disease and can have a profound affect on mental health.

This guy is very convincing.. He told me mesh removal was the answer to all my pain and issues. He did much more damage to my body and even more and worse pain was the outcome. Crippled me badly. After the brutal surgery he was zero help. Many report the same horrible experience. Don't pay only to be made worse. He will tell you anything to get you to do mesh removal. Like he did to me. Don't believe his phony statistics.. He's the one with no insurance..

I have inguinal hernia since 28 year old, it did not bother me until 4 years ago, it gradually become so large that even with the hernia belt on I could not even drive a car, and I spent most of the time lying down, there is no life at all. Being a medical researcher myself, I read all the papers in mesh surgery, and know well to stay away from it, especially after one relative die 4 month later post mesh surgery, and another close friend almost die 2 year later due to life threatening mesh induced bacteria infection, he spent 30 day in the hospital just to have the surgeon clean the pus for 1 hour per day. I am extremely thankful for Dr Peterson help, the non mesh surgery went well with no pain and post surgery side effect of any kind, I have my life back due to his extra originally skill, devotion and love to his patient. My impression about Dr Peterson is, he is a gentle, honest, humble, caring surgeon with rare skills that devote his life to help hernia patient like me, he is… not here to make a profit, in fact my surgery take three time longer and I offer to pay him more money, and was surprise he refuse to accept my offer. I felt extremely blessed. His website provide a lot of honest, truthful and helpful information and I read every word on it, if you are someone looking for a trusty and skillful surgeon to help your hernia problem, I recommend you not to try mesh hernia surgery, or you will regret it. Call Dr Peterson right away. He is the best, and only option to free you from the tormenting hernia.

I live in Maine. I traveled all the way to Las Vegas, Nevada to have my hernia mesh removed by Dr. Kevin Peterson of "no insurance surgery." The whole experience was exceptional. Above and beyond in all areas. Very professional staff. It was well worth the cost to me. Seemed very, very reasonable for all he did. He even did a scar revision on my unsightly appendectomy scar. I had an open appendectomy with infection and ended up with an incisional hernia two years ago. No doctor would acknowledge my mesh was the cause of all my pain and issues. I researched and found Dr. Peterson on line and self referred to him. Dr. Peterson listened to me and he believed me!!! He removed my mesh and was planning to do a traditional repair on my hernia. He found NO HERNIA. My hernia that was fairly large initially had healed itself behind the mesh. The mesh was thick and disfigured when he removed it. I felt better pretty much immediately! If I hadn't sought out Dr. Peterson that… would of stayed inside my body for the rest of my life causing issues...needlessly. Dr. Peterson and staff went above and beyond to be sure I was comfortable for the whole experience. I can't recommend No Insurance Surgery enough! Thank you Dr. Peterson for giving me my life back. I am now one month post surgery and PAIN free for the first time in a couple years. So thrilled!!!!!! Will be forever grateful!!
