Kevin Chan, DO, MS, FASA, is the family medicine physician at Pineapple Health in Phoenix and has been providing expert care for more than 20 years.
Dr. Chan is an integrative and holistic physician who focuses on total health and preventive care. Instead of placing a Band-Aid over an existing health issue, he finds the root cause to cure the issue and improve overall wellness.
Dr. Chan is a board-certified lipidologist at Pineapple Health in Phoenix and specializes in integrative lipidology, in which he synergizes functional medicine with oriental herbology and medical acupuncture.
He's the first in the nation to be double-boarded in both Integrative Medicine and Clinical Lipidology.
Dr. Chan holds an undergraduate degree in neural science from Brown University and a master’s degree in physiology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. After obtaining his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Chan completed his residency in family medicine, as well as a fellowship in occupational and environmental medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
To further enhance his skill set and provide better care to his patients, Dr. Chan is taking several board certifications over the next few year. He is in the process of completing his Chinese medicine advanced education at the White Pine Institute in Amherst, Massachusetts, and a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona in Phoenix.
Dr. Chan is finishing his fellowship in anti-aging and regenerative and functional medicine at the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Chan is also certified in hormone pellet insertion with BioTE®.
Dr. Chan is loved by his patients and was featured in Phoenix Magazine as a Top Doc 2014. He’s also an elected member of The Leading Physicians of the World.
