Dr. Kiran Sachdev, MD

This Doctor was very condescending, didn't listen and somewhat rude.

Just had my second colonoscopy with Dr. Sachdev, she treated my mother and my daughter throughout the years and I can't say enough wonderful things about her. Kind, caring, excellent Dr. are a few that come to mind, looking forward to having her as my Dr. into my golden years.

I was so not looking forward to my endoscopy and colonoscopy but I have every confidence in Dr Sachdev. The preprocedure appointments were easy ( for this type of medical procedure) and Dr Sachdev answered all my questions and some I had not thought of as of yet. The procedure itself was as easy as it could have been. I will not put off this kind of procedure again because I was "afraid"...

Can't say enough good about Dr. Sachdev. Great doctor!

Dr. Sachdev is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. She explains everything and answers all my questions. She has a straightforward, no-nonsense manner, but I appreciate that. I go to a doctor for help and answers, not to be coddled. I think she's a first-rate doctor. Couldn't ask for more, though it is hard to get an appointment.

Dr. Sachdev was compassionate, encouraging and caring. Spent time and recommended to me a surgery that uptimately saved me and changed my life. She was willing to give me incredible encouragment and the only Dr. to recommend what utimately needed to be done.

Three years ago I was having severe abdominal pain with severe heartburn. I ended up in the ER 2 times in severe pain. Unfortunately the ER treats pain and moves on. They were not interested in the root cause. I went to see this Dr and she had me doing all these wild tests, none of which seemed relevant, but I am not a DR. A few weeks went by and I was begging to be admitted to the hospital as the pain was so bad. She said no and continued with more tests. I finally went to the ER for the 3rd time and the physician touched my stomach and said "gall bladder" and 24 hrs later it was out. I later learned that the common symptoms of an inflamed gall bladder was EXACTLY what I was feeling. Why did this Dr not poke me in the belly once? Could have saved thousands in insurance as well as a few weeks of my time in pain. I would absolutely not return to this Dr. because she is too concerned with tests and not try something so very basic. Also she did not listen to my requests of… the severe pain I was in. Oh yeah, the surgeon said my gall bladder was so inflamed that it was bordering on threatening my life. Strike 3 Dr.

Rude, impatient, condescending, with a very poorly trained P.A. who prescribed medication that made me sick (she didn't look up my medical history before prescribing)! The practice should be reported. I've never been talked to like this by a doctor in my life. What an ego. Too bad she doesn't read these reviews.

Have been w dr Sachdev for several years -- very strait forward and caring also love the staff at the blmfd gi clinic - never met such super caring, professional staff, I think the expectations of the MD set the pace for the rest of the staff

If you are looking for excellence Dr. Sachdev is for you. I have been her patient for years and although I was initally taken aback by her brusque manner, as I grew to know her I realized that she did have a sincere intest in my well being but would have little patience if I did not follow her recomendations for good self care. Her no nonsence approach worked for me and her keen diagnostic skills have saved me from what most certainly might have become a life threatening condition.
