Positives and Negatives

First started seeing him during very severe illness. Several other providers didn't want to work with me because I was too sick, even after I improved greatly. He was sympathetic and returned my daily calls. I reacted very badly to one of the medications he prescribed and had to go to the hospital out-of-state. He called ahead so that staff knew my case when I arrived. Initially, he would not fill out my FMLA form for time off work but eventually did when I became disabled for a few months. After the hospital, he continued trying different medications until finding one that I was happy with. He also paid close attention to certain comments I made that all other health care providers ignored, including the ones at the hospital.
