Dr. Komal Madhukumar Pandya, MD

I saw Dr. Pandya initially for acne and then for laser treatment of my acne scarring. I have been very satisfied with her treatments. She seems to know what she's doing. I'm especially thrilled with how my skin looks after I had the laser treatment. I finally feel confident leaving my home without any foundation.

She is knowledgable but seems to fall into the group of doctors that will prescribe you a multitude of meds just because they did it to 100 patients before and it had a slight positive effect. Instead of having a personalized meds that are oriented toward your skin problems. Wait time is horrible, expect a month at minimum to be seen. After deciding I couldn't wait for her, one of her fellow doctors said "Ohh you had the Komal vitamin cocktail I see", which just is a total slap. Expect also to have a minimum of 3 lotions to apply to effected area, and if that doesn't work well your next scheduled visit will be in a month so dont be sad. After having this experience multiple times there are better choices out there.

Went to see this doctor for facial dryness. She saw me and assessed very quickly, too quick for me to fully understand and prescribed three facial creams/washes to use on a daily basis. After using the medication I realized my face BEGAN to run very red after have 2 sips of wi e or beer- something I've NEVER encountered before. I called dr p to ask if I was having a reaction to the meds. I could not speak to her directly and only her nurse who informed me it was not from the meds, but instead an internal reaction to drinking. I explain 15 times that I've never had this reaction to drinking and asked if I could come in for a FREE consultation to review my reaction to the drugs she prescribed! Nurse called back to say I would have to pay for another office visit! After sieving $600 on the three medications! Without the means to do that I researched the meds and found that one if the creams has a rare reaction when mixed with alcohol on SEVERAL websites. How did the nurse not know this… and insist that it was not the meds? Either way, I'm not satisfied with any part if the visit and I will stop taking the meds after spending so much money bc she would require me to PAY to find a replacement med that I would not have an allergic reaction to. I have a high deductible - period end. She dies not seem interested in my health- have the decency to call me directly at least next time- thanks.

Dr. Pandya is a lovely doctor who's loving and loveable. It's very obvious that she loves what she does and that makes me feel reassured as a patient.

Dr. Pandya is really sweet and very knowledgeable. I have seen many dermatologists in the area and have found her to be the most caring and thorough of the ones I have been to.

I went to Dr. Pandya for a cosmetic procedure. This was my first time doing something like this. So I was a bit nervous. She was so friendly. She explained all of my options, made her recommendations and gave me ample time to decide if I wanted to get the procedure done. I didn't feel pressured into having it done. I had a friend who had her lips filled by her and she had recommended her to me. I had seen what she could do, so I trusted her judgement. And I have no regrets. She gave me such natural results. I had botox done on my forehead and a filler injected in my lips. I love it. Go to her if you want to have a cosmetic procedure done and come out still looking like you but just better.

i have been to several derms in my life. but never to one that did such a thorough skin check. she even examined my scalp and in between my feet.

I went to Dr. Pandya after having been to several local dermatologist. I suffer from what was always misdiagonsed as acne. She took one look at me and said that I had a condition called rosacea, which is often misdiagnosed as regular acne. The regimen she prescribed for me has worked so well for me. She knew just what my skin needed. For the first time I can go out without make up on. I have recommended Dr. Pandya to several people I know and they have all loved her.

i HAVE VISITED WITH DR. PANDYA 3 TIMES. THE FIRST TIME WAS NOT SO PLEASANT I WAITED 1 HOUR BEFORE I GOT INTO THE ROOM AND THEN WAITED ANOTHER 30 MINTUES FOR HER TO WALK IN. THEN SHE WAS RUSHING ME, TALKED OVER ME AND WAS VERY RUDE. I THOUGHT SHE HAD A BAD DAY SO I GAVE ANOTHER TRY AND GOT A 2ND APPT. AND I GOT THE SAME VIBE AGAIN.
