If you’re looking for a hand or elbow doctor, stop clicking. Dr Jafarnia and his staff are top notch. After getting his name from a couple of people, I decided to drive the hour one way to see him about my hand pain. Here it is 2 weeks post surgery and my elbow is close to 100% recovered and hand is about 95%-98%. After years of debilitating pain, I am almost pain free. Do yourself a favor. Stop clicking, pick up the phone, and give Dr. Jafarnia’s office a call.

Dr. Jafarnia repaired a ruptured tricep tendon. The recovery went very smoothly. After just 9 months I have full functionality without restriction or discomfort. He and his staff are very professional and competent.

Fantastic surgeon both clinically and via bedside manner. I've had more than my share of surgeries due to bad luck and circumstance and while that makes me someone you don't want around you in Vegas the upside has been I'm a good source to provide the layman recommendations on high quality surgeons. Most of family and friends are in the medical field and once they asked up on him as well were strong advocates that he was a perfect outcome based solution based on his sterling peer based reputation. First and foremost his clinical skills are on point: He was able to fix me up so well that post surgery I was off pain meds by Day 2 and back to setting my own fantasy football lineups. Secondarily the true icing on the cake was the guy's bedside manner: Most surgeons this talented tend to have egos in lockstep. To my eternal gratitude, Dr Jafarnia was both empathetic and showed extreme patience with helping me understand: 1) My situation and how bad my breaks were but alleviating that with his experience in this specific procedures (Don't get misled into booking with docs that are general ortho and dabble in the hand. You want a guy like Dr Jafarnia that devotes his career to this sub-specialty) 2) Understanding the mechanics of the upcoming procedure and why certain approaches were necessary; and 3) My role (most important as it's what you'll be able to control) and knowing what would be needed from my end to ensure a successful short term and long term outcome While I can't hope anyone would need to see a surgeon, if fate dictates it must, I sincerely doubt you can find anyone better to fulfill your needs both from a mental reassurance standpoint and and outcome based perspective. Do yourself a favor and do whatever it takes to get an appointment with this man even if you need to wait a few days.

I sought a second opinion on an injury to my elbow. I was very glad that I found Dr Jafarnia. He was very through and explained my options. I was impressed with Dr. Jafarnia and his staff. At one point I had a complication after surgery and got immediate support from his Physician's Assistant and support staff. Overall I had an excellent experience.
