Dr. Wusterhausen changed my blood pressure medication Lopressor from 50 mg a day to 100 mg 2 times a day with no follow up visits. I asked his nurses to check my blood pressure about 2 weeks after this change and they would not check my blood pressure because Dr Wusterhausen did not order it. Dr.Wusterhausen also would not refill my Nitroglycerin that I had been taking for 2 years after a massive heart attack.
I hate to seem cynical, sarcastic, rude, or indifferent. But that is exactly what I experienced at Cambell Clinic, Weatherford Tx., with Dr. Wusterhausen as PCP. Folks can project a caring persona yet phoney, unprofessional to the core. Wolf in sheep's clothing. I can relate to the previous comment. Rude, uncooperative, sarcastic, indifferent, hateful, deliberate misinformation, deception.... whether by proxy, default, or purpose, it happened (s). I was in the process of changing PCP, hadn't got the card with Dr W's name on it yet. Upon entry they took my card/id with the other Dr.s name on it to get my case no. While I'm in the room waiting for the Dr & after the nurse does blood pressure, temp, etc. the super comes in & terminates the appt saying they wont get paid 'cause he's not listed as pcp. I had cleared that w/ins co. previously. But without checking the super said no, so I left while walking home 1 of2 miles. I called the ins co & got it straightened out. Walked back & Dr said he couldnt prescribe the meds without test (Cat scan] which took another week . They dont know I got a copy of the dvd. One can see an anomally. A week later I get a call from the nurse saying we got your Cat scan my liver is ok? How could that be? Blood, history,& enzymes indicate a prob. ergo the test. Nurse says no prob. So, what about the meds that he couldn't give till testing. Are they no longer necessary for the original diagnosis he made, which made the cat necessary? No, the situation still exists. During that call nurse also said Dr is gone till October. This was mid August. Meanwhile is the condition getting worse of better all on it's own? Duh? How bout all we care about is $$$$$ maybe
