Dr. Kristin Peters Kroeker, MD

Absolutely love Marina and Dr. Kroeker. The only unpleasant part about coming for a visit (and no, its not the urine sample or having your cervix swabbed) is having to deal with Denise, the front desk person. She is rude, condescending, and acts as if she is above you- in person and on the phone. Shocked as to how she still has that job.

I love this office and the staff, however, the wait is quite long.

Horrible experience with the delivery of my first child. She was disrespectful, appeared bored while I was pushing, discouraging, and showed little interest or respect for my birth plan.

While Dr. Kroeker seems knowledgeable and experience as an OB/GYN, her bedside manner leaves much to be desired. On several visits, she appeared irritated and annoyed when I asked questions about pros/cons of procedures and treatments or wanted to explore my options at various stages during pregnancy and seemed to take personal offense to my even raising such questions. Her interaction and tone felt belittling and demeaning on several occasions - the first I chalked up to her being human and maybe havin a bad day, but it continued with no improvement. I was disturbed by Dr. Kroeker's remarks about having a lot of patients to see and having spent a lot of time in our appointment; while this may be the case in her busy practice, her condescending and dismissive tone were unwarranted and seem to reveal her lack of empathy and consideration for patients who do not blindly follow her recommendations. If you value an OB/GYN who will provide education and explore options for treatment, tests and procedures with you, you would be better served elsewhere.

Dr. Kroeker was my OB for my second pregnancy and delivered my daughter via cesarean, which was necessary due to complications. She was easy to communicate with and very professional through everything. I would love to have her for my third pregnancy but change in insurance forces me to find a new doctor. Very sad about that! The nursing and front office staff is wonderful as well, appointments were always easy to make and very prompt even when the office looked busy.

Dr. Kroeker has and is very inconsiderate when it comes to scheduling. This is the third time that I have had my routine scheduled appointment rescheduled supposedly because of a change in her surgery schedule. Her staff are obviously covering up for her and it is and has been very frustrating just to get an appointment and then when the appointment that you have scheduled for a year from your previous appointment is canceled and you can't get another appointment until another three months is totally inconsiderate especially through no fault of your own. Furthermore, you can't get your prescriptions refilled either since Dr. Kroeker's office does not fill prescriptions over the phone and you the patient is stuck with out your medication. What a sad stae that is. Also, Dr. Kroeker can be a bit of an arrogant and condescending physician at times. Needless to say,I will be looking for another doctor:one who genuinely cares about his patients' well being and time.

Dr. Kroeker needs more training as she is clueless when problems arise. I know that doctors can't know everything, but a good doctor would ask colleagues for their advice or even research the literature. Furthermore, she is over-worked. You wait long hours, and if you catch her on a bad day, then she will snap at you and be very annoyed and rude upon answering your questions. She really doesn't know how to balance family and career. Perhaps being a physicians assistant would have been a better career for her. I would not recommend her!

I had to get there a half hour early and wait a half an hour past my appt time. So was there over an hour. Saw her nurse Miriam? Dr kroeker was too busy. She was pushy about what procedures she wanted to do and didn't listen to me. A lot of discomfort.

I honestly would not recommend her. During my visits everything was went well until delivery day. She has been in the hospital passed her shift and was very rude and told me the reason my son wasn't born was because I did not know how to push. After pushing for 4 hours she left because she said her shift ended. The doctor that was there came in and told me that the reason my son wasn't coming out was because he was facing up and they were going to have to do an emergency c-section because he was not doing well. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!! Shouldn't she know this kind of stuff. I never saw her in my follow up visits and when I told the office I would like to speak to her they said that she was on vacation and could not tell me when she was coming back. AMAZING SHE CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT!

Dr. Kroeker was very respectful of all my concerns. She discussed my diagnosis and clearly explained my treatment options. When asked, she was very forthcoming about her experience with the various types of surgical techniques included in those options. She is a very good listener and I felt my concerns and worries were heard by her. I highly recommend her.

I had a very large cyst needing to be removed. Dr. Kroeker recommended a course of hormones to try to shrink the cyst before surgery so that she could remove it laproscopically. She warned me that if she could not do it this way, she would have to make a traditional incision to remove it. The cyst did not respond to the hormones, but to her credit Dr. Kroeker was able to remove it laproscopically anyway. It meant that what should have been 90 minutes of surgery stretched to 3 hours, but she never gave up and just sliced me open which would have been taking the easy way out. I am so grateful because I was pleasantly surprised by how little pain I had afterward and how much faster my recovery was. Dr. Kroeker is always putting the patient's needs first. Dr. Kroeker was recommended to me by a friend and I will recommend her also.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kroeker's for over a year, have gone through a miscarriage & a full term pregnancy with her as my OB. I couldn't be happier with her & her staff. They are always available & willing to answer even my dumbest questions. They are all supportive of any decision I make regarding my care. I highly recommend her & have to all my girlfriends.

Wonderful doctor. Very bright. I would trust my life to her.

The worst Dr. ever!! She delivered my baby almost two years ago and I've never gotten over the lack of bed side manner, her total disregard for my feelings as I was laboring that I rec'd from her. If I had to pick one thing about my pregnancy that I could change it would be to have NEVER come in contact with Kroeker!! In my opinion she should work at the morgue because she clearly does NOT need to work with living human beings.

The first time I saw Dr Kroeker she met me, fully clothed, in her personal office to meet me and discuss my concerns and my problem. When is the last time you went to a gynecologist that did that? She offered alternatives for me to consider and was never pushy. I never felt like she was rushing to "get out by 3 o'clock" like someone said. I have found Dr Kroeker to have a wonderful bedside manner, professional, caring, and more than competent. She is a rare gem!

SHE SHOULD CARE MORE ABOUT HER PATIENS FEELINGS THEN THE FACT THAT YOURE APPOINTMENT IS CUTTING INTO HER LUNCH HOUR!!!!

I have been a patient for about 9 yrs. From the doctor to her staff,they are all so very kind and caring. The staff remembers things in your life that are special,it makes me feel very special. I trust Dr. Kroeker's medical decisions regarding my health care

Dr. Kroeker feels a bit uneasy when a patient asks questions about her possible treatments and her qualifications as a medical doctor. Dr. Kroeker does not truly listen to her patients and always tries to convince her patients that her treatment plan is the best even when a patient expresses concerns and or asks about alternative treatments. She contradicts her own treatment plan from one visit to the next and she does not accurately follow up on her patient's medical problem. Dr. Kroeker is more concerned about getting out of her office by three o'clock in the afternoon than she is about ensuring that her patient is accurately diagnosed. Needless to say, I, a lay person ,felt as though I had to look up my symptoms on the internet to find a treatment option for myself because Dr. Kroeker did not pay close attention to my description of my symptoms and just wanted to get me out of her office. Furthermore, Dr. Kroeker did not order further diagnostic test and still insisted that I have surgery when my primary who did order the additional diagnostic tests determined that I did not need surgery. I would not recommend Dr. Kroeker to anyone and I will definitely be looking for a far better gynecologist!!!!!!
