Dr. Kristin Hendren Magee, MD

Beware of their incompetent staff when making appointments. I was a new patient and had to wait over a month to see Dr. Magee for a stressful and possibly serious issue on my scalp. When I showed up this morning at my appointed time, while they had my information in their database (which was done at the same time I called to make the appointment) they said they had no appointment for me. And they could not squeeze me in with her or any other doctor for over two weeks!!! They suggested I go see another dermatologist. Seriously??? How can something like this happen? I could have a serious problem especially after waiting over a month and now I have to find someone else. There are too many other good dermatologists offices to have to put up with this unprofessional practice.

This was my first visit to a dermatologist and I was a little nervous. Dr. Magee was so caring and professional that I quickly forgot about being nervous and was glad that I made the decision to see her. She listened patiently to me and clearly explained what I needed to know. In performing the procedures that I needed, she was quick, gentle, and efficient. I'm often fairly critical of doctors because they are so often impersonal and rushed, but I got a lot of facetime with Dr. Magee and she seemed genuinely concerned about me as a person. She is highly knowledgeable, professional, and personable.
