Dr. Kyeong Philip Lee IV, MD

I developed full body parasthesias, what feels like carpal & cubital tunnel, body parts that go numb for days, severe musculoskeletal pain, & tongue/hand/leg tremors after a drug Dr. Lee gave me for migraines. While that may not be his fault, the fact that he blows off my concerns is. His nurse practitioner set up an EMG for me after seeing my tremors & hearing about my pain. Everything you read online says there are 2 parts to the procedure & it takes 45+ mins to complete. Before the test, my mom asked if my tremors could be related to my neuropathy. Dr. Lee said no. Keep in mind, he’s never even seen them for himself, nor did he even try to diagnose what is behind them. He then started the EMG, of which he only did the nerve conduction portion, & only on one side of my body despite both sides being affected. It took about 5 mins total. He said nothing was found, & maybe I have Fibromyalgia so he will up my meds & see me in 2 months. Even if I don’t have any large nerve issues, that… doesn’t mean I don’t still have Small Fiber Neuropathy, which he did not even mention again, despite my telling him at the start, that my Rheumatologist thinks that’s what I have. SFN requires a biopsy to test for & can’t be seen via EMG. If you are looking for a compassionate doctor, who listens & takes you seriously, this is not the one for you.

I was referred to Dr. Lee by Dr. Hardeman for periodic ringing in the ear and tingling on the side of my face and neck. Dr. Lee mentioned that he didn't know why Dr. Hardeman would recommend me to him. In a very condescending manner he said, I can't help you. He said, I will recommend an MRI to make sure nothing is seriously wrong. If nothing is seriously wrong then no one can help you. If he couldn't help me then he could have been lot nicer and friendlier.

Dr. Lee is the most extraordinarily kind compassionate caring Dr., and the finest Neurologist I could hope to find. I feel extremely grateful and blessed to have him as my Neurologist. He listens intently to me and spends time with me to examine, review, and explain every detail of my condition slowly and clearly, as well as the next steps to help minimize the debilitating pain and challenges of my neurological disease. He never stops short of any step or test to try and further my well being. Dr. Lee shares insight on the latest research that pertains to me. His staff maintains an expedient as well as compassionate line of communication between Doctor and patient, after and between visits, when the need arises. I feel Dr.Lee's brilliant knowledge and expertise brings everything that Mayo Clinic or Johns Hopkins has to offer right here for me. I have 100% confidence in Dr. K.P. Lee's thorough judgement and care.

Dr. Lee is truly an excellent Doctor, he spends time with you and listens and makes you feel like he cares.
