Dr. Lakshmi Lavanya Alapati, MD

I was very disappointed with her She dint even speak properly and she does not have patience to speak to patient and their family. She just doesn’t care about patient. She dint even diagnose the cause .we will be visiting another doctor soon.

I viisited Dr Lavannya for diabetics. She is an excellent doctor. She gave very appropriate medicine and took lot of care in listening and suggesting. I recomand her 100%.

We were the first patients. But we were made to wait for more than an hour. Even though we had an appointment and visited her on timetime. She was rude to us and did not spend time at all. Very disappointed with her. I will be visiting a different doctor soon.

She did an amazing job

This doctor does not think her patients are a priority even though we are the ones that keep her in business. I put dont know on the diagnoses due to I was diagnosed before I went to her.

Provided a thorough explanation of colon surgery, professional honest impressions, realistic expectations for recovery, and perfect bedside manner. Seemed genuinely concerned for patient. Performed arthroscopic surgery reducing recovery time!!! Outcome was a complete success. Even provided unrushed hospital visits during recovery. We couldn't have been happier with Dr. Alapati!!!!

Very bad bedside manner. The Dr told me I was to much of a perfectionist and if I wanted quality care I should see a physician at University of Iowa Hospital. That she may not get to my labs for weeks or more. She also told me as long as my labs were within normal range that there is nothing to be done for the horrible way I have been feeling since diagnosed with hypothyroidism, that I would just have to "deal" with it. She made me feel like there is no hope. I would never recommend her if you want anything more to come out of your diagnosis then "normal labs".
