Dr. Laleh Bigdeli

Doctor dismissed 80 year old for missing appointments due to hospitalization. Dr Bigdeli is a great doctor with questionable office ethics!! They dropped my mother as a patient without a call or explanation. My mother found out when she called to make an appointment. According to Dr. Bigdeli’s staff “the provider” made the decision to drop my 80 year old mother as a patient. The reasoning behind my mother’s dismissal is rather shocking. She was dismissed for missing too many missed appointments/rescheduling. My mother has been in and out of the hospital for the past 2 years. The appointments she missed were due to hospital stays. These were not appointments my mother made but the hospital. When questioned I was informed by the “office manager” that they were unaware but it didn’t matter. She missed 1 appointment because she was in life support. When asked if my mother’s health or their scheduling was more important, the office manager refused to answer. She has been with Dr… Bigdeli for 8 years. This doctor has been saying for years how much she cares about her patients. Well, she successfully made one of her patients cry. Any of you out there with aging parents please use a different doctor’s office. I can only hope that Dr Bigdeli and her staff are never put in a situation where they question if their doctor cares about them.
