I was referred to Dr. Silverman by a friend. She was ‘spot on’! No one else had given the time or attention to give me a medical diagnosis. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable, caring, thorough and ready to help. I am looking forward to getting my feet fixed. I have lots of living left to do.

Went to Dr. Silverman at his Apple Valley clinic with a bunion and two hammer toes that needed help. The surgery on the bunion did what i had hoped and, except for some diminished range of motion now, is perfectly fine. The problem came with the concern about toes four and five that lay on their side, thus pushing into each other and causing pain, particularly in any close toed shoe. He said he would just cut the tendons and that would help keep them from curling further. Unfortunately, now that the tendons are cut, I am not able to control the toes and they hang much lower than the other three. This is a problem because they fold underneath the foot when trying to put on shoes where I can’t actually pick them up and lay them down flat. There is also more pain now than there was to begin with as they smoosh into each other and I have to wear toe separators at all times with any type of shoe. I found him a nice guy, but his decision to cut the tendons to deal with my hammer toes… was , in my view, a mistake that I now have to live with for the rest of my life.

I have suffered with heal pain for nearly 10 years. After several visits to Podiatrists with no real success my Doctor suggested that I talk with an Orthopedic Surgeon, and I am so glad that I did. Dr Silverman performed surgery and was able to relieve my pain. The recovery was exactly as he said it would be and now I am pain free. I found Dr. Silverman to be very personable and knowledgeable. My only regret is that I waited so long to have this done. I highly recommend Dr Silverman.

Dr. Silverman is the best! He extremely knowledgeable in his field. He is thorough with his examination. He definitely knows what he is doing. I was suffering from severe heel pain. I went to Dr. Silverman after being bounced around a few doctors at Twin Cities Orthopedics, who after doing Xrays, MRI and an ultrasound had no idea what was wrong with my foot. They wanted to do exploratory surgery. That’s when did my research and found Dr. Silverman. He figured out my problem right away. Turned out I did not need surgery. He referred my to a dermatologist and I was on my way to a quick recovery. He saved from a surgery I did not need. I feel extremely fortunate to have found him. And grateful

Totally Awesome, The receptionist was very very nice and the nurses were too,dr. silverman seemed very in tune to my complaints about my ankle and he was a very good listener!! I felt very comfortable with him and being in his care!!!
