Dr. Stemmerman has been practicing family medicine in Iowa since 2000. She went to undergraduate University at the University of New Mexico. She then attended medical school in Fort Worth Texas receiving her doctor of Osteopathic medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 1997. Following that, she completed residency at Great Plains Family Practice Residency in Oklahoma City. Dr. Stemmerman is a Board Certified Family Medicine Doctor as well as a fellow at the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Stemmerman is married with two children and enjoys spending her free time with her family. She likes to travel and see the country as well as walk, bike, garden and read.
