Did not seem to listen or care or remember anything I said wrote incorrect details

I recently had a np appt. and got lost. I called and was told to keep coming and they would work me in. However, when I got there I was greeted by a rather rude secretary. I told her my story and she sarcastically said she needed to call back to the dr. Again. She did and this time she told me the doctor said I needed to reschedule. She pointed her finger towards the scheduler and aid she will reschedule you. I tried explaining to the scheduler what happened and that I waited three months for this appointment and wouldn’t mind waiting. She said hold on and went over to the first secretary and I heard her said rather loudly No way! Not gonna happen! I don’t care. The answer is no. On top of all this, the scheduler wouldn’t stop eating gum or candy and smacking her lips the entire time. If this is the staff and the doctor trusts them enough to be gatekeepers and such then he can’t be that good himself. No thanks.

I became an neurology patient after falling down 7 steps, suffering a fracture compression of the spine, resulting in dysfunctional legs and feet, lack of balance. There is no cure for my condition, one suffers with a lot of pain and "restless leg spasms." However, Dr. Blum listens quietly, takes notes, explains situations, and prescribes appropriate meds. He also refers one to other doctors if necessary, but always with a manner that we are trying to find a hopeful solution to some of the symptoms. He acknowledges how defeating this can be, but is also one to notice one's positive efforts with PT ,changes in meds when needed. Dr. Blum welcomes call in concerns and responds that same day. I've been able to count on him through some very painful months after rehab.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Blum for approximately 2 months. He explains things throughly and always returns phone calls. He takes his time and answers all of our questions. We never feel rushed. I would highly recommend this doctor.

He gave me a script for migraines. When I asked for refills, he demoralized me to the point that I left. Accused me of being a drug addict. Be careful of this guy. Just because he works out of the hospital does not make him a good doctor

I really like Dr. Blum because he spent a long time with me. Plus, he didn't try to guess what was wrong with me because my symptoms are not clear. I like that he ordered more tests and he made me feel hopeful because he said that if we can't get an answer from the tests, he will send me to the University of Md, who are experts at this. This made me feel better because I was feeling a little hopeless. I really appreciate the fact that he was honest with me and said that he couldn't make a diagnosis because I had some of the symptoms of Parkinsons but not others.

Dr. Blum was very polite and thorough. He answered all of my questions and explained things in detail. He also had Dr. Solomon come in and review my MRI and talk to us. It was an informative appointment.

I suffered an intraventricular hemorrhage after an unrelated surgery, and was referred to Dr. Blum at BWMC as part of my recovery program. On the first visit he spent over an hour explaining the scans of my hemorrhage, why it had occurred, what the effects were, what was done to relieve it, and what I should expect in the future. He also performed a very thorough examination, and very ably and politely answered the many questions my wife and I had. We left his office after that first visit much better informed, and with many fears allayed. Subsequent visits have been just as helpful.

worst doctor...i'd give him negavtive stars if i could
