23 minutes agoNEW Laura Hartmann MD has moved her practice and is now located at 305 W Robinson Ave. in Grovetown. Dr Hartmann is the best pediatrician we've ever been to. 12 kids and many military moves makes me sort of an expert. Our children have been with her since 2014, and she has been a blessing and a comfort to us. She listens and has always made my husband and I feel heard and our input valued. She trusts that we, as parents, know our kids. She has never talked down to us or any of our children. She makes us feel like she is a part of our t She takes the time to answer questions, without skipping any of the details. She has never ever made us feel like we were "on a clock" to get out of there. She is patient with the kids, bubbly, funny, and kind. She will patiently wait for the stuttering little boy to finish all his sentences about what he ate for breakfast and she will talk to the little girl with ADHD as she flitters around the room, curious about everything. She uses a soft reassuring voice with the child who looks nervous or sad. She has also been known to sit quietly and patiently and let the mama with post partum depression or a willful toddler cry or vent, ready to validate and encourage. If that wasn't enough, she happens to be an excellent pediatrician as well! ;) Her diagnosis has always been spot on, but she's also willing to do the needed tests and refer to the right specialist when something more serious or puzzling pops up. It is something very valuable to have a pediatrician that your children genuinely get excited to go see. All of my kids love her. As long as she is working, as long as we have kids, she will be our trusted and loved pediatrician. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone with littles. She's pretty much just really super awesome. Go see her, you'll see!
