Dr. Laura Lynn Czulewicz Reese, DO

This doctor is a sadist. I had a severe break/dislocation/torn calf muscle and she managed to make it worse. First she didn’t have a record of my appointment and made me sit in the waiting room for hours. One of the screws backed out *through the skin* before she would give pain relief and even then it was because another doctor contacted her. Second surgery she chipped the bone, which lead to the third surgery to try to correct her mistakes. I had to move to another state to have a 4th surgery by a great Doctor that corrected everything she did wrong. She never even addressed my muscle damage, which left me having to have my calf muscle surgically lengthened. I started to sue her for malpractice, because she has cost me multiple jobs from later damaged, but I didn’t follow through. I wish I had, because I don’t want her to continue to mistreat vulnerable patients. KDMC assigned her and I blame them for associating with a complete quack.

Couldn't ask for a better staff and doctor! I'm walking today bc of her professionalism.. Staff is always nice.. Some rude plpl are there sometimes and they handle them with kid gloves but some ppl want drugs which she will not do.. 10 stars!!!

I’m very thankful for Dr. Reese and her staff. I had an open reduction internal fixation procedure on my broken leg. Everything went really well and I have nothing to complain about. The staff members in her office are also very helpful and kind. They are knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. On a side note, the X-ray room looks really cute.

Terrible bedside manners! Extremely rude. Egotistical. I will never let her perform surgery on me again.

I've seen Dr. Reese twice and she "hit" the diagnosis within 10 min! She did a steroid hip injection and it has helped, she is honest and forth right. It's refreshing these days to have the truth instead of the run around, now I'm headed for labral tear repair!

Had a bad fall and went to the local hospital had X-rays and diagnosed with a broken leg and was referred to this Dr., she did no further testing just looked at hospital X-rays and said I had arthritis bad in that knee and that it was broken. I've never had any problem with it previously as far as any pain. This Dr. wrapped it in an ace bandage and told me to go home and if I didn't want to I didn't even have to wear the ace bandage and I could start putting weight on it. I went for a second opinion and ended up in surgery thanks to her, 2 days short of two weeks later, no mention of arthritis, so lengthened my healing process. I had to have a plate with screws and non weight bearing for 10 to 12 weeks. Also checked with another Dr. who told me the same thing that my surgeon did except that I could possibly need a brace and so far haven't had that. Wouldn't recommend this DR. to anyone.
