Laura Schnaps, PHD

Laura Schnaps worked with me for 2 years. I was 16 years old when I started working with her and had been in treatment centers for my eating disorder several times. Laura showed compassion to me that I have never received before. She included my family and helped them understand the things about me that I couldn’t ever communicate. She is very compassionate and strives to see everyone’s side of the picture. She meant the world to me. I have since moved away, but to this day I remember the things she helped me with often. I would always recommend her for families.

My daughter saw Dr. Schnaps for well over 8 years yet never gave her or me the tools to work through her disorder. Of course my child still has unresolved issues. I feel as though we were just the next paycheck for the doctor.

This provider is very poor at providing guidance and help for the family, which, in turn provides ineffective care to the main individual receiving assistance.
