Dr. Laura Shepherd Stiles, DO

Despite the horrible reviews I decided to give this a chance. As someone who works in the medical field I was appalled at the customer service provided. The front desk employees are HORRID! It took 20 minutes for them to acknowledge is even checked in. There was no greeting, no nothing. The back office medical assistant was great. She was friendly and personable. She was the only one who behaves with any professionalism. The PA was friendly from what u could tell in the 5 minutes we spent with Her. Her bedside manner was a little abrupt but that's ok. Back to the first desk, we leave to check out. I stand there at the window 3-4 minutes waiting while they are having a none work related conversation. She then opens the window takes my completed paper work and walks away. She then comes back and resumes her conversation so I ask, "am I done?" Oh yes you're done we'll see him (I have a daughter) back for his (again I have a daughter) 8 year check up. Ummm no you will not. … I'm sure Dr. Stiles may be a nice person and a good doctor, however your staff is lacking. Take my advice and hire people who will represent your office in a positive way

After today my son will no longer go back to Dr.Stiles office to see Dr. Lane. She is the worse i feel. He started going there and was seen by Mrs>Jean who was awesome but she retired so we were passed along to Dr.Tejani, who end up leaving and now Dr.Lane who is not kid friendly at all. I try to stay professional but coming to the door and standing at the door saying i cant do anything for this child is pretty pathetic.......Dr Lane, its time you retire

Finally, a great pediatric clinic close to home!!!

Very poor and unprofessional service. I have taken my daughter to this pediatrician since she was a newborn. My daughter got sick this past weekend and we made a doctors appointment for today at 145 pm. I was unable to make the visit on time so I had my mother take my daughter. I let the office know that we would be a few minutes late. I was told by them that would be ok. My mother showed up at 150. My daughter was denied care because the cost of the visit was 45.00 and all she had was 40.00. Not to mention I was on my way to the doctors office with my credit card. I will no longer take my daughter here nor will my friends that use Dr. Styles office use her because of her unprofessionalism. my daughter will now have to go another day without medication because of a 5 dollar dispute.

The Rockwall office is quick to see us and does a great job of taking care of us

I found Dr. Stiles office to be awesome. From the time I called to make an appointment till the time I saw the NP and left the office, I found everyone helpful and caring and all my questions were answered. In my wait time I saw patients come and go and asked several had they waited long and was told no. I made the right choice to come to Dr. Stiles and her office. I have no complaints and have been taken care of every time I came in the last 6 months.

I have been using L. Stiles for about 8 yrs now. I used the mesquite location up until about two yrs ago when I transferred to the Rockwall location.. Wait times have been ok.. Office staff was always nice and friendly... However since I transferred to he Rockwall location. I can't ever get a hold of anyone, when I do they are rude, and my daughter who is 1yr got very sick I alled to get her in and was told that they could not see her bc they close at 12 keep in mind I called at 8am plenty of time for her to be seen. When I explained my concern and ok them it was an emergency they did not care and I was ok they can't make an exception bc they close early and it's a holiday weekend and that I could take her to the emergency room.. U am very disappointed and will be changing doctors! Also We have never meet Lora not one time and she has been my kids doctor for 8yrs now..

This office is absolutely awful...long wait times..can never get an appointment..tried called to get my child's ADHD meds refilled ..he was out..I was told I would have to wait a month for the next available appt..be real..I would not recommend this office to anyone

Again, turn over at the office. Why can't they keep the good doctors and staff members who get to know your children, show compassion and concern, and truly do their job well? Again, it raises the question: What is the problem? I do not want to get to know yet another doctor, nurse practitioner or staff member all over again. Time to move on to an office with stability of staff. My ratings reflect the "new turnover" .

Wait time was long, didn't even have any toys or a play area for my kids. Waiting room was crowded as well. When we were called in we had to wait 45 min to be seen, they also don't let you delay or skip vaccines apparently. Finding a new pediatrician.
