Dr. Laurie Lee Shinn

We have been coming here for years with our wheelchair bound adult twin daughters. We are always impressed with the competence and compassion of dr Shinn and her staff. She has gone above and beyond for our girls, even after hours. I always recommend this practice to our family and friends.

From the scheduling an appointment, to signing in, to checking out commonwealth is one of the best run practices I have been to. Apt. Times are generally prompt and you leave feeling better and more confident then when you came. Thank you all.

I have read these reviews and know people who are mad are typically the ones to review. So thought I would take the time to review this doctor who has given my children great care for the past 4 years. She diagnosed a complicated and possibly serious condition almost instantly after going to many different dermatologist. I would recommend her completely.

Very disapointed. I had an appointment for my two children. They had very different rashes that had been going on for at least six weeks each. I felt that Dr. Shinn never had her full attention at the appointment. In the end I got a call from the nurse that one childs culture was negative and to continue current treatment. I verified the current treatment with the nurse. Part of it was to use a medication that I told her did not help my daughter after trying for it for a week prior to our appointment. Also the doctor told me at the appointment to use that medication for my son. I asked for clairifaction and have not received a return call. I am now doubting that the culture was done correctly. Unfortunatly I feel that we have not gotten anywhere with my childrens rashes except for lossing time and money from work, driving 120 miles round trip and paying more towards our high deductible. Week seven and the rashes continue.

Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Shinn. She is excellent with children and adults and is very thorough in her exams.
