Dr. Lawrence Zvi Meiteles, MD

I had a 9:10 appointment with him today. I arrived 15 minutes early as requested. At 9:10 I was told that he is running late and would not be in until at least 9:30. I had a 10:45 appointment that I could not take a chance on missing. The guy behind the desk rescheduled me for 11:30. Again, I arrived 15 minutes early. At 12:00 I asked how long it was going to be. The gal behind the desk said that there was one other patient ahead of me. I told her that this was crazy. She said that Dr. Meiteles is very thorough. Very thorough is an excellent quality, but I think being very inconsiderate of your patient’s time is very disrespectful and very wrong.

Even though the doctor was running about 2 hours behind he was very pleasant and explained a lot.

He listened to my daughters’ needs, was caring, responsive and attentive

I want to thank my great doctor - Dr. Meiteles for all of the the tremendous care that he has given me over the years. i gruly beleive that he saved my life when I had a serious health situation some years back. i am forever grateful for him. I continue being one of is patients at ENT Allergy. DR. M you are the best!

Dr. Meiteles performed two successful cochlear implants on me. He was thorough in making sure I was a good candidate, he was caring and gentle throughout the lengthy surgeries and recuperation periods, and is one of the kindest doctors I have ever known.

I have been a patient of Dr. Meiteles for 8 years. He is the kindest, most compassionate doctor I have ever known. When my Meniere's Disease goes into crisis mode, he and his wonderful staff always manages to squeeze me for an emergency appointment. During an appointment he gives you his undivided attention and taking as much time as is needed, so you are never rushed out of the office.

When my 17 year old son woke up one morning deaf in his right ear we were of course mystified and frightened. Our concerns were alleviated a few days later when we met with Dr. Meiteles. The first thing he said to my son, after reviewing the history from the referring ENT, was "You're going to be okay". It wasn't just the words, but the reassuring and caring way in which Dr. Meiteles spoke to us. It is now six months later, and we have been with Dr. Meiteles at least a dozen times in his office and the hospital. There have been several procedures performed, and now my son uses a BAHA device that was recommended and surgically implanted by Dr. Meiteles. My son has been through many changes, both physically and emotionally, and is finally thriving with the use of the BAHA. The one thing that never changed through this ordeal was Dr. Meiteles' caring and meticulous approach to my son's care. I have never met a treating doctor who spaces his appointments in such a way that we… never felt rushed and always had our questions answered in a comprehensive manner. We were also thankful for his courteous and efficient office staff as well as his audiologist.
