Dr. Lawrence Saks

Dr. Saks performed rhinoplasty on me in 2003 to correct my crooked nose. When the bandages were removed a week later, I broke down in tears. Not only was my nose still crooked, but it was now a fraction of the size, upturned, and lobsided. My bridge was also much lower than normal. I finally went in for corrective surgery over 10 years later when I could afford it and the new surgeon explained how Dr. Saks had hacked out an enormous amount of critical cartilage, causing the bridge of my nose to slowly collapse over time. He also explained that the incision was done on a steep angle which caused the lobsidedness. I paid a large sum of money to have the new surgeon extract cartilage from my ear and fascia from my head to reconstruct a new nose, which is still far from perfect given the initial damage done. I'm likely going in for another reconstructive surgery this year. I've since researched Dr. Saks and learned about his dishonest procedures leading to fines and jail time. In… hindsight, I wish I had never gone to him because it has cost me literally years of torment and 10s of thousands of dollars to undo the damage he did to my face.
