Excellent surgeon and great bedside manner

Had an umbilical hernia from a previous surgery not done by Dr Farber. Dr Farber is very compassionate caring and will listen to you and your concerns. I had gone to send another surgeon previously who dismissed my complaints and thankfully Dr Farber listening and just had surgery it is getting better but still painful Dr Farber and Theresa are great

I was referred to Dr. Farber by my GP for an Umbilical Hernia operation. Dr. Farber met with me before the surgery and on the day of-and explained everything that would happen before, during and after surgery. Dr. Farber and his pre and post-operative staff are second to none- the care I received was first class and I was able to return to work a week post-op. Couldn't be happier with the care I received and wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Dr. Farber in the highest possible terms.

I’m nearly three days out from Surgery. I’ve had my hernias for YEARS. I was always afraid to have surgery. My husband had to have emergency surgery in May 2018. Dr Farber did his surgery. My husband had twisted and fused intestines. I was convinced Dr Farber was the one to finally do my hernia surgery. Yes. I’m sore. As I said I’m not quite three days post surgery yet. But each day it’s getting better. I no longer have a softball sized hernia showing. He even gave me what’s going to be a very cute inny belly button when it’s done.
