Dr. Lee Alice Goscin, MD

I’m not the type of individual to post negative review, but my experience from this facility was just substandard. On the first day of my appointment I was 15 min. early to be able to fill out the paper work. I waited an hour to be seen on top of being 15 minutes early to my appointment. I was not seen by the doctor because he has an emergency at the hospital and I was seen by a nurse. I got my blood work done. Today is my follow up appointment to discuss my blood work. The staff that was scanning my ID wasn’t sure if she did scanned my ID on my first visit. I handed her my ID and it wasn’t a big deal to me. I was 20 min. early to my appointment. I waited an hour to be seen for the staff to tell me that the doctor couldn’t see me because of another emergency (same excuse as my first appointment). Staff asked what I needed to be seen for. I mean, are you serious? At this point she’s trying to get a nurse to see me and I waited. After an hour is my last straw. I asked for a copy of my… blood work and told the staff that I’ve been waiting for an hour. She then asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I told her I won’t be rescheduling at all. I was on time for my appointment and I hope you have the courtesy to let me know ahead of time that the doctor will not be able to see me than waste my time going there for nothing. Totally wasted my time! Stay away from this place unless you want to wait an hour and end up not been able to be seen by a doctor. If I can rate this place less than a 1 star, I’ll totally would.

She spent 2 hours with me on my first consultation. Very pleased with the results.

Lee Goscin is amazingly smart. She knows the thyroid in and out. She's open to moving beyond just synthroid. She will take alot of time with you - no 5 minute visits for her! She really cares and wants to know about you as a person, which helps her treat you better. One of the best doctors I've ever had.

If you have her as your Endocrinologist, always get a second opinion. She is very loud (she wears a hearing aid) and will shout at you so I felt I had no privacy when discussing my medical plan her loud voice is heard throughout the nurses station and in other offices. I could hear her talking to her other patients in the next office.As far as medical care, she told me I had a tumor in my lung and that I need radiation treatment. Turns out the nodule in my lung was NOT a tumor!

I cannot praise this doctor-I am in the medical field, found her to be off the wall, she does not follow standard protocols which is why she wants every patient to sign a waiver that they will not sue her if something goes wrong. She made medication errors, and she diagnosed me incorrectly causing me pain and suffering.
